A public tournament for everyone from any rank

Dear whoever the heck is going to read this, I have had an idea, probably a bad one, and probably one that will never work but an idea nonetheless. What if there was a massive public tournament? Every year at the end of the season for each region, there is a massive public tournament. To qualify, you have to have a team of 5 players from any rank. There would be a tournament for every rank. Bronze, Silver, Gold, Platinum and Open. The highest ranked person determines which tournament your team would join.

Every round completed would give scaling rewards, from rare skins to RP to Hextech keys, and it would be a knockout tournament. First loss and you are dropped to the consolation (which would not be broadcasted until the grand final but would still have rewards). Each round would be best of one, and maybe for the consolation you can have a champion randomly selected from a pool you choose. Like you get top lane and choose 6 champions, and a bot chooses them for you, this way it would bring luck into it.

How it would work is it would start on one day at an exact time, and if people are missing then their team suffers. Perhaps once every week there would be a tournament round. In the last few rounds from every rank, the remaining teams all get broadcasted online for everyone's viewing. The last four teams from every rank go to a world event where they compete against the other winners from the other divisions. This would be absolutely amazing to add, as it gives everyone not only a chance to shine, but to become better players. Plus some people would love to watch "entertaining" bronze players as well as pros.

There would be a problem of people who are deliberately going down a rank, but to deal with that there should be someone who monitors people's results, and they see if they have dropped largely over a short period of time. Also to play in this tournament you must have completed at minimum 2 ranked games each month, to make sure people were in a rank that they were near to.

Give me some feedback if you can. Thanks for reading, Bronze IV legend TheHotDogThing Darius
