Saul- the repentant

Lore: A proud guardian of the blessed isles? That what he thought himself to be. But at the moment of truth, when he really had to prove himself as a defender of the isles and their secrets, he failed. Kneeling before the iron order and the ruined king, he broke. He gave up the one secret his oath dared him to keep. As the dark mist corrupted the isles, one rose from among the dead. How can it be him? Above the dead bodies of the brave and the glorious, a scum returned to live an eternal suffering. What kept him alive was his new goal- to make sure that no one will ever make the same mystique, no one will ever try to suppress death. Not on his watch.

Abilities:

Deadly touch (Passive): Saul basic attacks hitting enemy champions inflict Grievous Wounds for (2+1% of his AP seconds).

Link of life and death (Q): Saul links himself to an enemy within basic attack range for (3/3.5/4/4.5/5) seconds. The link is broken if the distance between Saul and the target goes over 110% of Saul's basic attack range. While linked, Saul damage the target at a frequency equal to his attack speed, dealing (20/25/35/50/70+10) of his AP) magic damage. The ability cast is counted as an ability and each hit as a basic attack for your items and other abilities. It only counts as a single over time ability for anything else than those. Mana cost- (50/55/65/80/10). CD- (15/14/13/12/11 seconds) (counted from the moment the ability ends).

Driven by the mist (W): Saul summons a whirling cloud of mist that surrounds him for as long as this ability remains activated. While activated, the mist gives bonus (4%/8%/12%/16%/20%) attack speed and (4/8/12/16/20) movement speed to Saul and his allies within the cloud. Mana cost- (20/25/30/35/40) per second. CD- none.

No escape (E): Saul marks an enemy in his basic attack range. The marked enemy is slowed by 20% and silenced (if it's a champion) for 2 seconds. After 2 seconds, the mark explodes, dealing magic damage the target for (30/40/50/60/70+20% of his AP) and damage other enemies close to the target by half the amount. Enemy champions damaged by this ability (except the first target) are silenced for 1 second. Mana cost- (60/70/80/90/100). CD- (10/9/8/6.5/5 seconds).

Sentenced to death (R): Saul marks an enemy anywhere in the map for (3/4/5 seconds). The marked enemy's health regen and life steal become 0 (this also affect abilities like volibear's passive and Dr. Mundo's ultimate). Saul's basic attacks on the marked champion's armor and magic resist by (4/7/10) this effect stacks up to 4 times, to the maximum of (16/28/40). The marked champion can't be shielded and if healed by an ability/item/summoner spell, the healing doesn't affect him and he takes true damage equal to (50%+percentage equal to 10% of Saul's AP) of the amount of HP he was supposed to heal. Sentenced to death doesn't affect the fountain healing. Effects reducing healing on the target don't affect the damage dealt by Sentenced to death. You can cast Sentenced to death on yourself to mark all enemy champions you can see under 20% of their HP. Sentenced to death can't be cast if you don't have sight of your target. When the target dies while being marked, Sentenced to death's cooldown is reduced by 50% and it refunds 50% of its mana cost. Mana cost- (100/150/200). CD- (100/85/70 seconds).

Saul as a champion: Saul is mainly a support but can also be played as a mid laner. As a support, Saul's goal is to lock on one priority target at a time and stick to it, debuff it and help your team to kill this target as fast as possible. In lane, you are kind of an anti-support, your goal in lane is to make the enemy support do as close to nothing as possible while setting up catches for your ADC, you want to take E then Q and then W but max them in the opposite order. As a mid laner, you want to get your Q maxed as fast as possible. You want to pick up 1 vs 1 fights and use your Q as your main damage resource.

Appearance:

General: Light gray skeleton in a dark blue hood, holding a lantern in one hand. While standing or walking his feet can't be seen. When moving with speed boost (like when leaving the fountain for the first time or after 20 minutes) his hood waves behind him and his lantern fly beside him.

Basic attacks: Saul picks balls of yellow light surrounded by black mist out of his lantern and throws them at his target.

Q: The link is made of black mist and each hit can be seen as a flash of yellow light blinking through the link (from Saul towards the target. The link comes out from Saul's open mouth and connects to the enemy in the center of their body.

W: A swirling cloud of black mist.

E: The mark is little balls (some of yellow light and some of black mist) circling the target. When exploded, the balls will move into the target, then exploding in yellow light.

R: A circle of yellow light rays breaking through the ground around the target and a skull surrounded by black mist, coming in and out of its eye sockets and open jaw hovers above his head. When the target dies while being marked, the light reaches the skull and the skull, now covered by both light and mist, flies to Saul and consumed by him.

Enemy supports weak vs Saul (examples): Soraka, Jana, Taric.

Enemy supports strong vs Saul (examples): Blitzcrank, thresh, karma.

Mid: Doran's ring, 2 health potions, Wit's end, Boots of speed, Tear of the goddess, Berserker's greaves, Blade of the ruined king, Guinsoo's rageblade, Manamune, Rylai's crystal scepter.

Optional skin- undead scum:

General Appearance: A green rotten zombie, leaking light green goo. His head is broken and a part of his brain can be seen.

Basic attacks: Saul throws a ball of green goo he tears from his own body.

Q: Saul catches the enemy with a long pink tongue that has its own mouth full of sharp teeth at the end. Each strike can be seen as a round shape passing through the tongue (inside it) from Saul towards the target.

W: Swirling muddy water with bones in it.

E: The mark is a big ball of green goo with bones in it. The ball then explodes into a lot of green goo, bones and rotten limbs.

R: A circle of skeletal hands breaking through the ground around the target and an open grave hovers above his head. When the target dies while being marked, the arms reach the grave, dragging it down. The skeletons then march from the ground and crawl into the grave. The grave then travels through the ground towards Saul and consumed by him.
