The last 2 darkins

One of the most things i find interesting in the lol world is the different races ,and to me the one that stand out the most are the darkin. the story said their were 5 left ,3 of which we already know. AatoxAatrox , RhaastKayn , and Varus Varus leaving 2 more. Aatrox being a tank/fighter , Rhaast being more like a Fighter/Assassin, and varus being a Marksman/Assassin. and the last 2 are still unknown what i want to know or hope for is that the next darkin could be a high damage mage type of character that has found a way to break the seal of her/ his curse and does not need a host the main weapon could be Staff , scepter or a book. and for the last Darkin i found a great concept made by_** Sora Pakash**_ which he calls Mica and Ivaara which is a mage / support type of character and from the looks of the skills he thought of looks like instead of the character having an ultimate the R skill is a transformation skill like elise and niddale having the human form have more support skills and the darkin form has the damage skills. and the bio from it can be that instead of the darkin trying to take over the host body that she decided to work with the host.

Well, we know the names of most of the Darkin from the Twilight of the Gods story.

We know Varus's sisters is named Valeeva, and is one of the remaining Darkin, she had wings.... well, she at least had feathers.

The Darkin seem to be based on the Horsemen of the Apocalypse, so it would look like Valeeva is going to be representing the Darkin Scales. So her weapon would be like a sword, with some chains, and like, a pair of floating shields? She will also probably be dealing with the corruption and the light within her, maybe the two personalities are broken apart and she has a real duality to her character; light dark, good evil, angel devil, etc.

Then the last Darkin would have some kind of Jesus imagery about them, like they could have a ring blade or something, like a crown of thorns, or maybe they just throw crosses around... heh nah, that would be ridiculous.

Are we still set on 5 still? Riot has never in their new lore mentioned a number. The original 5 thing was from Aatrox story and that's no longer canon. Having 5 is limiting for future champs, once you make the 5th then you are done. Although they will probably never reach that number before league is gone however. So story wise they would be more than just 5.

I think a good concept for one would be a sympathiser, trapped in their weapon but now recognises their wrongs so with the hosts help is trying to make things right (by destroying the remain Darkin).

Still don't like the lore change as it humanises them but alas, that's my issue.

Bit of a problem with the whole "last 2 Darkin" bit. In the short story 'Legend of the Darkin', I stumbled upon a little paragraph at the beginning; "Centuries later, with the loss of mighty Azir at the very moment of his own Ascension, Shurima fell. Although apparently immortal, the god-warriors had been born human—gradually, with no emperor to lead them, many of the surviving Ascended began to falter in purpose as their older, petty ambitions resurfaced. They taught themselves forbidden sorceries, and came to view themselves as the rightful inheritors of the world. The scattered mortal populace named these new tyrants darkin, a whispered curse translating roughly in the old tongue as 'the fallen.'" TLDR; Darkin = Ascended who decided to be not so noble.

You could argue that this was referring to the Ascended trapped in weapons, but another paragraph in the same story states otherwise; "This conflict spread from Shurima to Valoran, and beyond. The renegade god-warriors and the armies they raised were unstoppable, and entire nations were crushed between them. It seemed as though this would be the end of all things… until, unexpectedly, the mages of Runeterra learned how to contain the remaining darkin. Through secrecy and cunning artifice, the physical forms of the Ascended could be merged with the celestial power in their hearts, and all of it bound within the weapons they bore. With their leaders imprisoned forever, the rampaging hordes were broken and slain." TLDR; Darkin weren't trapped in weapons until after they rampaged across the world for awhile.

With this new information, you could technically consider Xerath and Renekton Darkin if you wanted to. So technically we already have 5 Darkin, 6 if you were to consider Nasus evil, which he isn't actually but can be from some people's point of view.

I'd see a tank and a mage as next Darkins. Enchanters don't feel much something that a Darkin would be as they went into solitary wars amongst eachother with flebile alliances that were less durable than sandcastles along the shore.
