Merlin!!!!!????? possible LOL champ

So me and a friend were discussing who was stronger Morgana or Merlin. We thought it would be awesome if Merlin was to be introduced to league as a champion and morgana's #1 rival

MERLIN Story lore : Since Merlin has remembered he has always been in war with the fallen angel " Morgana le fay" after been smited down from the heavens by her angel sister "kayle" has turned her eyes to ruling the world. Merlin the only immortal sorcerer strong enough to face Morgana, raged war with her for years to come.

This is a very simple intro, that i made from the top of my head. What do you guys think? do you think Riot can make this work and put merlin as a possible champion.
