Shiyu Nem Champion Concept
Before I go into the concept and all that good stuff, I’d like to first say this isn’t done. I will most likely tweak this a lot, so any feedback you all have would be much appreciated. Also, if someone else already made this idea, I apologize profusely. I scrolled through for a long time trying to find other ideas to make sure I wasn't totally copying anyone. Sorry if I am and missed it. Thank you for reading all this if you did.
Okay, so of the current 128 Champions, which will soon be 129 including the Jhin guy, there will officially be 11 Yordles, assuming Amumu’s a mummy child and not a mummy Yordle. That’s (rounding up) 9% of the Champions are Yordles. So making it 9.5% isn’t gonna hurt THAT much, right? Back to the point, though, there are also (again, of the 129 Champions) only 12 supports, which is the least amount of Champions in a role. Even assassins pass that up by three. So I figured I’d make a second Yordle support. The name of the Champion would be Shiyu Nem and it’d be a Yordle support. When making this guy, I wanted to make him really difficult to use, but if someone was able to use him well, he’d be an extremely good addition to the team. Now I had to study the other supports for a really long time to get a fair idea and, in doing so, I probably picked something up from them without trying to, so I apologize profusely if the abilities are a bit skewed. Also, if they seem really OP or ridiculously stupid, let me know. PLEASE. This is the first time I’ve ever conceptualized a brand new anything, let alone Champion, so I’d really like as much feedback as possible. Onto the character visuals.
I made Shiyu out to have fur like the rest of the male Yordles, but his is a really light green except for a horizontal streak of bright red fur on his right cheek crossed with a vertical black streak making a plus sign. On his left cheek, he has a streak of purple fur in a diagonal line. He has heterochromatic eyes, the right being bright orange and the left being gray. Both eyes have vertical slits for pupils. His left hand has a fingerless combat glove and the right is gloveless. However, that is where the splits stop. He wears a simple black jacket with a lowered hood, black pants, and black combat boots. Now for the character audio, I have no clue who to voice him, but if it ever even gets that far, who knows, maybe I could voice him.
PASSIVE: Shiyu's passive, Will of the Yordle, is always the same. It allows Shiyu to gain .9 extra mana regeneration while near Champions of both ally and enemy teams, but it also stacks depending on how many Champions are within 800 range of him.
Now the active abilities are next, but a note beforehand. Shiyu’s abilities are similar to Gnar’s but a bit different. Every time you pick Shiyu for a fight, he always starts with the buffing abilities to help his allies. However, every time you use, say, Q, it goes on cooldown and switches to the opposite ability in its place. This will make more sense when you read ahead to the actual abilities. Also, Shiyu’s Q, W, and E abilities are targeted abilities with a range of 600. Kinda like Teemo’s Q, but with 20 more range. However, his R is a map ult, either affecting all allies or all enemies. Lastly, Shiyu’s able to target himself with his buffing Q, W, and E and his ult can target his whole team (including himself).
Q: His Q, Quicksilver / Quicksand, will either raise his teammate’s speed by 25% for 1 second or lower the enemy’s speed by 25% for 1 second. It has a 12 second cooldown. As far as scaling goes, the points in order from one to five make it 5% speed (de)buff, 10%, 15%, 20%, and 25%.
W: His W, Refresh / Block, will either heal allies for 30% of their current health or stun enemies for 0.7 seconds. It has a 15 second cooldown. As far as scaling goes, the points in order from one to five make it 6% healing, 12%, 18%, 24%, and 30% and .9 second stun, 1s, 1.1s, 1.2s, and 1.3s.
E: Shiyu's E, Fervor / Groggy Movements, will either raise allies’ attack speed, attack damage, and ability power by 15% each for 1.5 seconds or lower his enemies’ attack speed by 25% for 1.5 seconds and slows them for 10% of their current speed for 1 second. It has a 20 second cooldown. For attack speed and AD scaling, each point goes 3% buff and 5% debuff, 6% buff and 10% debuff, 9% buff and 15% debuff, 12% buff and 20% debuff, 15% buff and 25% debuff. For the speed reducing scale, each point goes 2, 4, 6, 8, and 10 seconds of a slow, but it’s always a 10% slow.
R: His R, Unbreakable Spirit / Detrimental Retaliation, will either raise all allies' attack speed, attack damage, ability power, and movement speed by 25% of their current statuses for 2 seconds and heals them for half their current health OR slow all enemies on the map for 30% of their current speed and gives the whole ally team vision of them for 2 seconds as well as dealing damage to them for 5% of their current health. It has a 150 second cooldown. As far as scaling goes, the percentage of buffing goes 15%, 25%, and 40%. The speed debuff’s scaling goes 11%, 22%, and 45%.
Shiyu’s stats are as follows:
Health: 550 (level 1) + 57 per level (1,519 health at level 18) Mana: 619 (level 1) + 19 per level (942 mana at level 18) Health Regen.: 3.3 (level 1) + .7 per level (15.2 health regen. at level 18) Armor: 23.2 (level 1) + 3.2 per level (77.6 at level 18) Attack Speed: 0.625 (level 1) + 2% per level (0.841 at level 18) NOTE: This is the same as Syndra. Range: 600
As far as Mana Regeneration is concerned, Shiyu scales because of his passive and his leveling. With no nearby Champions, his mana regeneration is 2 at level 1 and 17.3 at level 18, going up by 0.9 every level. However, it also goes up by 0.9 per nearby Champion. In order from 0-9, Shiyu’s mana regeneration is 2, 2.9, 3.8, 4.7, 5.6, 6.5, 7.4, 8.3, 9.2, and 10.1 at level 1. In order from 0-9, Shiyu’s mana regeneration is 17.3, 18.2, 19.1, 20, 20.9, 21.8, 22.7, 23.6, 24.5, and 25.4 at level 18. I would do the math for the rest of the levels and Champion stacks, too, but that’s a lot… I gave the numbers, though. This would also put Shiyu at the highest mana regeneration level in the game by far, so I have this nagging feeling that it’s ridiculously overpowered. Again, if anything in here just seems BAD, let me know. I would actually like to see this Champion go up and I wouldn’t mind tweaking it here and there and editing occasionally if it meant I’d get to see something I created go to something I love. So… yeah. Hope you all like the idea. Maybe it isn’t too terrible?
is the only cahmp like that and i would love to see more :(
