Akali idea, making her current w her ult instead.

It's possible that she is already done and is in waiting for the assassin rework this winter. However, i couldn't get this idea out of my head of Akali's W becoming her ultimate. When i Imagine a ninja with a smoke screen, i imagine a fast image darting around its target like a shark in the water. to the prey, it would look like shadows in the corners of your eye, or catching brief moments of the attacking ninja.

That's when I had the Idea of Akali's Smoke screen Ult. This ultimate would be large, about the size of trundle's W. Inside this zone Akali would be completely invisible, even to stealth wards, unless she was attacking her target. If she was attacking her target, only her target would see her, but her allies will see their ally in distress. This would be similar to the velociraptors from the Jurassic park 2. She would also show up after so many seconds as an after image similar to the sweeping lens trinket when detecting stealthed champions.

Now, for an ultimate like this, she would need buffs while in the zone like her current brief movement speed that she gets in her current W.

I don't have any other ideas that would work with this, but it would be really cool to have a zone like assassin, and having a ninja living up to its theme.

Immunity to pink wards can be replaced with just nearsighting all opponents inside the zone.

It's a smokescreen after all. Riot will never make true--sight immune invisibility, but nearsight - sure. In return for a vulnerability to pinks and red trinkets, she can gain resists, like she used to in her old, third season W.

And, if W becomes a nerfed version of her current Ult, that will be cool! The only thing is, her E, the real problem of her kit, still remains a problem. It does near to 0 damage and still has no other use in her kit other than waveclear. Maybe, you could come up with some changes to her E as well, so taht it more fits ninja-assasin playstyle.

I've always liked the idea of a sort of reverse smokescreen, where enemies outside of the shroud can't see their own allies and Akali (can still see Akali's allies) inside of smokescreen. No actual stealth involved, just vision manipulation.

This is in the vain of what Riot said they wanted assassins to do as well, they said that they wanted them to bring something other than raw damage. This Shroud would give Akali a unique ability and a unique reason to be picked.

I also disagree that it should be her ult. Her W currently helps a lot with actually being able to lane. It lets you walk up to a creep wave without just dying automatically.

I already had the idea of letting her reactivate her w to blink to an area within her shroud at the cost of some energy. I also made it so that her E is now an epic execute ability that can only be activated after being displaced.

Great idea. Instead of 3 dashes , she should be really powerful in her own smoke cloud.

How about her new ultimate reads: Create a large smokescreen centered on you current location. Akali has 30/40/50% bonus movement speed in the zone. Enemies lose allied vision if in the fog for 3/2/1 seconds. Cool down: 100/80/60 seconds

This way we make her a beast when she drops her smokee bomb and in the zone she can appear out of nowhere or even 2 v 1. But outside the area she loses her chasing potential. This makes her lose mobility (distance) but having 3 huge gap closers is a lil unhealthy. Instead she has great mobility in her domain, but enemies can get away if they leave the fog. Unlike current akali where you can flash blink dash and she'll still catch up.

She will maintain her mobility in a limited area instead of anywhere .

It sounds good, but do be careful with that invisibility to even item 2043 . If any invisibility champ could use that, it's her, but I can think of a number of champs with invisibility that would be calling bull that she can be invisible no matter what while their invisibility is practically countered as soon as someone places a or uses item 3364 .
