Teemo thought long and hard about things. It had been a while since anything had happened. No sounds of mushrooms popping in the distance, no rendezvous with Tristana or Rumble, even the enemies in the jungle seem to have gone scared.

Just a moment ago, Teemo had a sense that he had forgotten something important. Stalking the outlands of Bandle City, he was on his usual patrol to set some new traps. It came noon-time, or what felt like should have been noon, and it dawned on him that what he couldn't remember was how long he'd been out here. Something in his mind said he was in Bandle City just lask week to stock up on rations - but something else said he's been stuck out here for weeks, caught between packs of jungle beasts.

There wasn't the faintest breeze or rustle of leaves now. Teemo's legs just kept moving as he pondered more and more of the things that were dripping fast from his mind. Eventually, Bandle City stood in front of him.

"Welcome, back."

A young yordle girl with silvery hair and unburdened eyes was knelt in the middle of where a great place once stood. Picking flowers and putting them into a basket that never seemed to get full.

Somehow, the sight of another yordle was not a relief to Teemo. He'd never seen this person before, perhaps it was an enemy in disguise. He readied his blowpipe with a dart, but forgot to poison it. "Who are you? What are you doing here?"

The girl did not seem frightened. "Oh, I'm new here. But who knows? Maybe I've been here the whole time." She brought a flower to her nose and sighed.

"Where did the city go?" Teemo's knees felt weak, and his arms like spaghetti.

"Interesting question. They haven't decided that yet... Possibly? Maybe they have, but they just forgot to tell you. Hopefully they will soon... but they might not. Could be that..."

Teemo crept closer to the girl he struggled to recognize.

"Could be that we'll be completely different. Bandle City won't matter anymore. May not even exist."

"Tristana!" Teemo shouted with a startle. "You're not making any sense! What is going on?"

The girl stood up and patted out her dress, her basket now suddenly full, and a circle of dead grass encroaching upon them.

"I'm sorry. You-" A glimmer of confusion appeared in her eyes, as though she was seeing something for the first time, or the last time, but it was gone as soon as it had come. "We... fought so hard. We waited so long. Let's just hope somebody out there will remember who we are after we no longer can. The sky is full of eyes, Teemo."
