Katarina rework ( attempt at keeping her identity intact but adding more counterplay)

Passive: When ever Katarina auto attacks a champion or hits a champion with any skill she gains a stack of Voracity. At 4 Voracity Katarina will dodge the next attack made against her and if the target is within melee range strike back dealing physical damage.

Q:Throws a Dagger that deals physical damage and bounces to 3 other targets prioritizing targets with lower % of health.If the Dagger has no other Bounce target and only hits one person then its damage is significantly increased. Cooldown:10 / 9.5 / 9 / 8.5 / 8

W:Katarina whirls her blades around her dealing damage (this skill can critially strike and apply's on hit effects). If Katarina hits an enemy champion she gains a bonus stack of "Voracity".

Cooldown : 4

E:Katarina teleports herself a short distance in the target direction shes facing then takes reduced damage for a short period of time. Cooldown 30/25/20/15

R:Any champion who dies within 3 seconds of Katarina damaging them Reduces ALL of Katarina's cooldowns by 70%.

R Active:Katarina refreshes her cooldowns and enhances her next basic ability which can be cast independently of its basic version's cooldown and incurs no cooldown of its own.

Enhanced Q(Blade Shower)- Katarina somersaults backwards tossing kunais in a arc in front of her slowing and dealing damage to the first targets they hit.Katarina can be knocked out of her somersault and is not CC immune while performing it. (the same way you can knock Tristana out her W) Enhanced W(Death Lotus) - Katarina spins rapidly tossing daggers at nearby enemy champions dealing magic damage (channeled) Daggers can also "crit" dealing increased damage. Enhanced E(Shunpo)-Katarina leaps onto the target enemy champion, dealing Attack Damage plus a percent of their missing Health. If she kills the target, Katarina is healed for a percent of her missing HP (scaling with AD). This skill also provides immunity to disables while occuring

Cooldown 40/32/24

Goals: -Shift Katarina's Paradigm to a AD focused assassin but also retain Ability power katarina as a valid choice -Keeping all of Katarina's more known skills but vastly improving her options to make her less binary while also keeping her kit understandable. -Give Katarina the tool she needs to survive in close quarters combat and allowing mobility options not gated by "Shunpo". -Retain Katarina's mantle as the go to "reset" assassin but adjusting the rate at which she resets it to a more balanceable level. -Give Katarina clear windows of power and weakness and grant her more "outplay" potential -Give Katarina versatile build paths

Thoughts: This rework would add unseen layers of depth and raise Katarina's skill ceiling vastly. Whereas current Katarina is all about biding your time and waiting for your moment to jump in and pop everybody new Katarina will have the skills to also be more of a duelist and less one dimensional.

With the change to her Bouncing dagger harassing in lane will be trickier as now Daggers will most likely jump to other fullhealth minions as opposed to enemy laner with high health. If a Katarina wishes to push in some damage she will have to trade with them enough that the daggers will begin prioritizing bounces to them OR closely watch minion hp and wait for the correct opportunity.

Before Ganking Katarina at the midlane was near impossible due to her wardjumping being able to clear half the lane instantly, now ganking Katarina will also be much more feasable option due to the high cooldown of shunpo in the early game and this creates a situation both players will have to play around.

When it comes to teamfights Katarina can use her shunpo to flank her way to back line to engage the enemies or focus on hitting as enemies as possible with abilities to keep her Voracity up.

An ability power focused Katarina will most likely want to hide in the fog or behind a wall before suprising the enemy with a Shunpo into a Death Lotus afterwards picking off the stragglers with item 3100 empowered shunpos

Meanwhile an AD focused Katarina might simply jump right into the thick of it relying on Voracity to keep her alive maybe using a empowered Q to retreat when she draws the Ire of the heavy hitters the playstyle is really up to the players.
