Love letter to riot

this is a sort of love letter to riot and their game which i have sunk far too many hours into. firstly, thank you for this game ive spent so much time on it made many new friends and theres a reason i keep coming back, despite all of the balance issues and annoying champions i can tell that so many people on your team obviously care about your game and theres so much effort put into it and i just want to say i really appreciate the effort. My experience began with a friend recommending the game, and despite my shitty 20 fps laptop and cracked screen i decided to give it a download. unfortunately i cant say i instantly fell in love getting in the game was an odd experience and i found myself confused more often than not. but after i found that some of my other friends played it as well i decided to put the effort into learning the game. My next significant memory was the release of Zoe and as a relatively new player holy shit was i scared of zoe, yes she was broken and her balance made me a bit pissed off but im just glad that period is over and nothing has been as busted since. i remember having no idea who to main or even if i should have a main, i bounced around champs for a bit until i settled on shen. i got decent at shen but nothing special, a few cool saves with my ult were probably the highlights. next i moved to blitzcrank in order to help a friend get m7 jhin, took a bit of time but i got the hooks down and even felt comfortable to take blitz mid where i created a "nuclear" blitzcrank build based on getting some kills with the decent damage blitz can dish out at the start of the game and from there building full ap with the goal of being able to one shot an adc or midlaner. needless to say it wasnt great but i had fun. i made the switch to the pc master race in early 2018 buying a pc and finally tasting that sweet 60fps. soon after the Aatrox rework was announced, i remember seeing people complain about how "the character was changed too much" or that he was "cringy" but i remember seeing the teaser and then gameplay trailer and only thinking holy shit thats cool. now im a bit of a lorehead when it comes to league the storys of the champs really interest me and with the Aatrox rework came the amazing story of the Darkin and particuarly the character depth of aatrox, this only made me love the champion more. his lore was interesting and the characters past made sense with what he is now, a suicidal god like being with no other options who seeks to bring an end to the world and certainly possesses the power to do so. the gameplay made me fall in love even more, the champ felt powerfull fun and something i could turn into my own. to this day Aatrox remains my most played and favorite lol champion. i would also just like to say despite people complaining that they want the old aatrox back, the new lore and character are more interesting better designed and better for the health of league of legends. I finally decided to put aatrox down when my season 8 stats came in saying that nearly 50% of my playtime that season was spent on aatrox. i decided to try and find something else though nothing really lit the spark like aatrox.

to end despite all my praise and love for this game i recently tryed to get back into aatrox as i still love him and found that he had had one of his dashes taken away, as an aatrox main i found this incrediably frustrating and felt like he was impossible to play. i just couldnt combo anymore id land one skillshot and be unable to follow up leaving me vulnerable to punishment without retaliation. i agree that aatrox may have been quite powerful but taking something integral to his kit and how hes played isnt the direction to go. if anyone from riot responds could they please consider giving me any any imformation on if aatrox will get his dash back as his winrate sits around 43-44% and feels unplayable
