Display of border Toggle-able

Title says it all.

A little backstory: I've played league of legends since season 1. I placed gold originally and every season after I made it to diamond. Due to real life events, I've pulled away from the game and still have the diamond border. Now, players expect me to be "diamond quality" and carry or tease me for "how much was the boost". I don't like this harassment and I can't carry like I used to. So....

Can the borders be toggle-able so I can't be researched so up front?
