The Victorious skin should be chosen through a poll, voted on by the player base.

I believe Riot should implement a type of poll in which players choose their top 3 champions that they would like to see with a Victorious skin for the season, and would be chosen towards the middle of the season to give enough time to work on the skin - or, alternatively, chosen at the end of the season and we'd have to wait until the middle of the following season to receive the work of art (Victorious Skin). This poll would be hidden to us as the players until the reveal at the end of the season. The choice would be whatever champion had the most votes. Every time a champion receives a Victorious skin, they are removed from the list so they do not get duplicates.

A lot of people say something like: "Oh, get ready for Victorious Teemo/Urgot/Yorick", but I feel like the people that legitimately want a Victorious skin outnumbers those who are trolling.

It's true, you can't please everyone, and no matter who gets it, someone will be upset. However, going based off of a champion that had an impact in one split is ridiculous, and I see that countless people agree with this. I understand it takes time to make a skin, and they would like it out by the end of the season, but there could always be a change, and since we'll be getting the skin in the end regardless, I feel a longer wait would be completely okay. Additionally, you'd have the numbers of the people who chose certain champions, and you'd be able to see that you're upsetting a hell of a lot less people than choosing a champion that has been reduced to rubble over the conclusion of the season.

I'd have to disagree, because people would just choose their favorite champion instead of a champion that is actually relevant. Riot should be choosing champions that actually have an impact year round instead of just the spring split, because even though Graves was powerful at that time, beyond that point you rarely if ever see a Graves. I understand they probably do it that way since by choosing a champion during Spring, they can have it ready for Fall, but I honestly would rather get the Victorious skin late as long as it's an actual relevant champion than get a champion that isn't as relevant on time.

Granted, I can live with a Victorious Graves, but I feel like a different champion would have been better.

They did in season 5. Between Ashe/sivir/old graves. (Least I remember old graves being good S5) Of course it was done on the terrible Reddit site. Reddit voted in favor sivir the walking support item. Then we got the ugliest victorious skin to date. (I love the Victorious skins except the sivir)

Alright but we're still getting the same crap now...Riot is choosing for us and no one has been satisfied since like, when? Season 3? There needs to be a change to how it's chosen somehow. And of course people are gonna vote on what they want most - at least at that point you have a crap load of people backing a champion, rather than the current way it's done: where 10 people support the Graves pick, and everyone else is disappointed. You have a better chance if everyone votes FROM THE BEGINNING on what champion they want. Ahri is the meme that she's chosen for everything, but you never know.
