RITO!!! AND TO ALL THE WUKONG MAINS AND FRIENDS!!! HEAR MY PLEA AND CONCEPT!!
Ok guys. Please remake Wukong. I’ve dug deep and hard on concepts after concepts. Hear me out. First of all. When remaking Wukong you have to put into account that it’s hard to be creative seeing as how you don’t want to copy other abilities. I understand. Also needs to have a healthy play style and has to be versatile in at least two roles (Top and JG favored). I speak versatility so the player base has a grander positive out look instead of solely one role. As for Wukongs structure as a fighter or assassin. I personally like the idea of an assassin Wukong BUT it defies his character originality as a fighter/trickster. Now the hard part is thinking of a kit that doesn’t sway from the originality of wukong but allows way more interactive play skill wise. And being the fact that he has trickster qualities flows into the assassin category. Also being that he’s a fighter , he still needs a kit that has both burst potential and trickster gameplay. I’m more than sure that people would still want a bruiser monkey king, seeing how that has healthier gameplay for both the player and the opponents. So here are 2 versions of wukong I came up with out of my experience as a character developer and martial artist. V1 Assassin wukong V2 Fighter wukong Now as for damage calculation, I won’t do tht bcuz I’m lazy. But I’ll give you the general idea
ASSASSIN WUKONG
PASSIVE (Pole Vaulter) : After activating all 3 non-Ultimate abilities, Wikong gets 1 Pole Vault charge (MAX 2 vaults) When the pole is stationary, Wukong can jump off the staff (if within range) and leap in a direction with a 2 hit combo leading with a kick and a pole slam (35 sec Cooldown once charges are depleted)
Q: First cast: Wukong expands his staff, damaging his opponent with a very small knock back shredding armor for 3%
Recast: After 1.5 seconds, wukong can kick the staff in a direction dealing damage. If the staff hits a target, the pole bounces off and can be placed by clicking a spot on an area near the target (kinda like draven when he catches axes). If no target is there, the staff stays stationary but cannot be interacted with for 3 seconds.
W: wukong leaves a decoy and turns invisible for 1.5 seconds. After 1.5 seconds the clone explodes dealing magic damage (Gonna keep this the same since its so iconic to his kit)
E: Wukong first calls his nimbus, placing it around him lasting 3 seconds. Wukong can then jump on the nimbus and dash to any direction, if wukong dashes towards a champion the will be damaged, if wukong dashes to his decoy it will turn into a spread attack. Wukong can then choose which clone to take the place as. If wukong chooses a clone that doesn’t hit a champion there will be no damage calculation
R: Pretty much the same as the old one unless you guys have any better options. With the exception that he refunds his charges if it knocks up 2 or more champions
FIGHTER WUKONG
PASSIVE: “Rivaled will”: When wukong drips below 25% health he unlocks abilities under his non ultimate abilities
Q: Wukong lifts his staff, extending it, dealing damage in a single direction, slowing champions for 25% and 4% armor shred for 4 seconds
Under 25%: wukong can charge this ability and leap forward, expanding his staff, hitting a champion dealing damage, armor penetration for 15% for 2 s.5 seconds along with a small knock back.
W: Wukong creates a decoy and turns invisible for 1.5 seconds. Wukong can also send the decoy any direction. When done so the clone lasts 1.5 more seconds
Under 25%: Wukong can charge this ability then select a non ultimate ability to be casted by the clone. The clone then targets the nearest enemy champion dealing 70% less damage than the original, then explodes slowing them for 15% movement speed.
E: Wukong calls his nimbus, dashing toward a direction dealing damage towards any target hit by it. Wukong also gains 40% extra attack speed for 4 seconds (this distance is increased if it goes over walls)
Under 25%: Wukong can charge this ability to summon nimbus and gain 35% decaying movement speed for 4 seconds. While on nimbus wukong can cast any non ultimate ability without charge time (under 25% Q will leap him off nimbus). Wukong is also granted a shield upon Activation
R: “Conqueror of the heavens”: Wukongs Unleashes his ultimate warrior mode. Casting this ability Enables wukong to use his 25% move set without the requirements and turns his Q into a knock up this mode lasts for 7 seconds
Recast: Wukong slams his staff into the ground, summoning a giant pillar from underneath a designated area, knocking targets towards wukong, shredding armor for 10%
Ok tell me what you guys thing. Even before this game I’ve been a fan of wukong and martial art in general. I’m not here to argue about Wukongs placement now. Just what I look forward to when rito polishes this god of a champ that has so much potential. BUT YES! Let me know if I’m worthy of the design concepts lol
