Hey guys! The time has come to unveil my discord server, and I hope you guys will join! (yes, this is a reupload since ApothecaryK pointed out that my link had expired T___T)
So for those of you who are familiar with me, you might recognize me as that one guy who was giving champion reviews to random people on the forums (even if they didn't ask for it) lol. For those who are not familiar with me- Hi, my name is Chubby Platypus and I'm here with a goal in mind. I want to unite the character creation community!
I know, I know, "But Chubby, what exactly does that even mean?" Well for starters, while reviewing a lot of concepts on the forums I couldn't help but feel like there was just something missing from some posts. Some had solid concepts but lacked a foundation for their champion, some had a potentially ground breaking kit but lacked the numbers needed to fully balance it, and let's not forget the creative minds that completely blew me away with their lore... but their champion felt incomplete due to the disconnect between the lore and the kit. All of those things are small and shouldn't get in the way of creating a great champion! What I offer to the community are my expertise and a creative outlet for those who never knew where to take their concepts. I've been playing this game since 2012 and have been obsessed with the patch notes (yeah sounds dorky, but I am indeed a dork). I've been keeping up with how Riot tunes numbers and reworks kits more than I play the actual game. Whenever I do play the game it's usually to study the new interactions that Riot envisioned for their nerfs, buffs, or reworks- and now and then for actual fun lol.
If you've ever wanted to take your champion concept to the next level but never knew where to go to get that accomplished then I urge you to join my server Chubby Zone lol. Here, you'll be in a judge-free and in an organic environment to discuss champion creation. I also have plans to start a live streaming mini series (which will also be uploaded to YouTube) where I sit down with creators and discuss with them their champion! During this mini series I will personally work with creators to fully flesh out their champion creations which includes: lore, abilities, interactions, and art. Of course, since this will be a live broadcast, anyone would be able to join the creation process and give their own input on the design. You can join the server and not be a part of the streaming lol, so don't worry there's no pressure to be a part of anything that you don't want to be. Taking part of the live stream is completely voluntary!

Riot has a whole team dedicated to champion creation from beginning to end and I am but a measly peasant compared to them. What this basically means is that I will likely only be able to work on two champions per month (maybe less maybe more), but that does not mean that I won't be able to do some reviews! I will always have time for reviews, but actually fleshing out a champion takes up a lot more of my time than a couple of sentences. Reviews will be by via request only since class is starting and I won't have time to give everyone a review. So... first come first served!!
With all of that being said... what do you say? Wanna make some champions together?! :D

I'm sorry if I never got around to reviewing everyone's champion creations T___T I had a whole list (of 20 or so) and it's hard to get around to all of them since I'm visiting my family for winter break and I want to enjoy my small vacation, but school starts on the 13th so I'll ironically have more time lol. Again, I apologize for not reviewing as much as I know I can. <3
