Character Concept: Thane, The Shield of Death
Shields. The bastion for all seeking safety from murderous jerkwads, unless they have bombs, then I don't know how it's supposed to save you, but that's not the point. Point is when you think of a shield you think of something that protects. But the shield is actually a very potent weapon that can be capable of murder just like any other weapon, especially when you add a bit of death magic into the mix. So let's imagine a shield-wielding fighter that chases you down as if he were Death himself, ever approaching, nigh unstoppable. Numbers can always change.
Passive- You can move through walls every so often. Once you have passed through the wall, a cd is inflicted.
Ability 1- In a cone, shoot out tendrils from your shield to latch onto enemies, dealing damage and dragging them closer.
Ability 2- Throw your shield into an area to find the most durable targets around. It then bounces between them and steals some defenses for a time. While it's bouncing, your q and e can be cast as an aoe from the shield.
Ability 3- In a cone in front of you, have your shield breath death fire to deal damage and ground enemies.
Ult- Passive- Killing enemies increases the damage of the next ult cast and reduces the cd. Active- In a large cone, release a blast of death fire that stuns.
Thane is difficult to escape, what with the drag, ground, stun, and the ability to move through walls, but he excels more so in teamfights rather than the 1v1, so if you wanted to get in his face, all he has for you is a stun. If he's been diligent with killing things to empower his ult, he can turn things around, but if he's denied the chance to slay then he's fodder in the 1v1. His team fighting is where he shines as he can set up his team quickly with a rapid use of W into QE and if he really needs to he can Ult. He'll keep enemies grouped up and unable to jump, dash, or blink away and he'll have a slight boost to his defense. His simple nature allows him to have this power, but his W doesn't steal enough to warrant him disregarding defensive items. Building some damage is also useful, but not too much as his scaling isn't too high.
Anyway. If you liked it, cool. If you don't, hey. At least it ain't in the game.
