Stats:

Health: 611 (+96/lvl) Health Regen: 8.4 (+1.2/lvl) Range: 125 Attack Damage: 57 (+4.5/lvl) Attack Speed: 0.583 (+2.5%/lvl) Armor: 19 (+3.1/lvl) Magic Resistance: 30 (+1.25/lvl) Movement Speed: 350

Abilities:

Passive: Curse of the Statue Laumo's curse ravages his body throughout the game, slowly turning his body and mind into stone. Every 20 seconds out of combat or 3 seconds while in combat, the curse spreads, giving him a stack of Curse of the Statue (max 15 stacks). Each stack of Curse of the Statue increase his Armor by 3/4/5 (1/7/13), but decrease his Movement Speed by 2. At 15 stacks, Laumo reduces his Movement Speed by an additional 20, but gains 10% (+1% per level) bonus Tenacity. Stacks of Curse of the Statue are expended by casting spells, and all are lost upon death.

Q: Stone-Infused Strikes Laumo uses the stone in his body to empower his next two basic attacks. The strikes deals bonus Physical damage equal to 3% of the target's Maximum Health (+30% Total AD) and mark them with Stonecurse for 3 seconds. Multiple applications of Stonecurse do not stack, but rather refresh the duration. Enemies marked with Stonecurse have 10/15/20/25/30% reduced Movement Speed and Attack Speed. Allied champions that use basic attacks on Stonecursed enemies reduce the target's Armor by 2/3/4/5/6 per basic attack (Max 20/30/40/50/60 Armor) for the remaining duration of the mark. This ability removes 1 stack of Curse of the Statue upon cast, if Laumo has any.

Cooldown: 9/8.5/8/7.5/7

W: Mr. Lamb-Lamb's Wonder Guitar Laumo channels for 1.5 seconds uses his guitar to soothe and serenade those around him. Upon finishing his song, he removes 2 Stacks of Curse of the Statue and enemy champions and Epic monsters near Laumo as he casts this ability are enthralled by his music and deal 7% (+1% per level) reduced damage to him and his allies for 3 seconds. In addition, during the channel Laumo gains 10/15/20/25/30% bonus Armor, which remains for 3 seconds if the channel is completed.

Cooldown: 14/13.5/13/12.5/12 Radius: 250 Note: Laumo can move during this channel, however the channel may still be interrupted.

E: Stoneskin Blast Laumo shatters a portion of his petrified body to send forth at his enemies, dealing 60/75/90/105/120 (+50% Total AD) (+5 per Curse of the Statue stack) Physical damage to enemies in a line and leaving behind a field of gravel for 5 seconds. Enemies in the field take 20/25/30/35/40 (+10% Total AD) Physical damage per second as sharp gravel digs into them. This ability removes 2 stacks of Curse of the Statue upon cast, if Laumo has any.

Cooldown: 10 Range: 1000 Width: 100

Ult: Purge of the Stonecurse Laumo temporarily purges a large portion of his curse into the ground, expending all stacks of Curse of the Statue dealing 100/150/200 (+60% AP) (+10 per stack of Curse of the Statue) Magic damage to surrounding enemies and marking them with Stonecurse for 3 seconds. The area remains for an additional 4 seconds, and its size increases based on how many stacks of Curse of the Statue Laumo had before casting. The area increases the slow and Attack Speed reduction of those infected with Stonecurse by 65/90/115% and extends the duration of the debuff as long as they remain in the area.

Cooldown: 100/80/60 Radius: 500 (+20 per stack of Curse of the Statue)

Gameplay:

Playing as Laumo: Laumo's constant struggle to cure his curse shines through in his gameplay, as he needs to stop the curse to become normal again, but curing it completely is usually far too difficult. In lane or in the Jungle, you must constantly balance between having enough stacks of Curse of the Statue and having too many. Sometimes it might be useful to get a huge boost in Armor, but sometimes the slow can be too much to deal with. Inflicting those around him with Stonecurse and damage reduction from Stone-infused Strikes and Mr. Lamb-Lamb's Wonder Guitar are essential to his survivability with his relatively low damage in lane.

During a team fight, Laumo does incredibly well when his enemies engage on him. If he and his team are dived on, a well-timed Purge of the Stonecurse allows him to severely debuff his enemies, and combined with Mr. Lamb-Lamb's Wonder Guitar, his enemies will have to think twice before fighting Laumo's friends.

Tips and Tricks

  • Laumo does exceptionally well against basic attack reliant characters thanks to his passive, Curse of the Statue and Stone-infused Strikes. He'll typically have a lot of Armor so long as he casts his abilities often enough, and he can massively reduce his target's Attack Speed and armor, so long as he can get into Melee range.

  • Laumo's weaknesses lie against bursty champions that can either shred through his bonus armor or deal Magic damage instead. Laumo excels versus champions that deal poke damage, damage over time, or just physical damage. When drafting Laumo into a team, keep this in mind.

  • Proper chaining of Stonecurse applications from Stone-infused Strikes and Purge of the Stonecurse can shred even the beefiest of tanks, given that the targets are focused by his allies.

Lore:

There's a saying in Valoran: Need to cheer up? Find a Yordle. Before he was cursed, Laumo Lamb exemplified that phrase. Laumo Lamb used to be known for his ability to cheer up even the most disturbed and distressed of people, whether it was a soldier recovering from a horrible battle or a child crying due to losing their favorite toy, Laumo was the Yordle for the job, that is, until a curse was cast across a Demacian village Laumo was visiting, petrifying all of its inhabitants... except for Laumo. Now he wanders the world, trying to stave off as much of the curse as he can while trying to find a cure, and all the while, he sings his songs.

While Laumo Lamb was born in Bandle City, he knew from a young age he would never want to stay. He was always a hyperactive, cheerful Yordle, even more so than average. Frankly, according to those around him, it was hard to tell if he was being genuinely cheerful or purposefully annoying. Laumo's true passion was music, and he was known for carrying around his special guitar and singing joyous songs about teamwork and friendship. As a teenager, he came up with the name "Mr. Lamb-Lamb", and it stuck ever since.

When Laumo came of age, he set off to travel the world and play music to all who could hear. Laumo travelled everywhere, not looking for a destination or place to stay, he just wanted to see everything he could. During his travels, he met many people from many backgrounds, and while not many people listened at first, but when people listened, they certainly could not stop. Those who listened often cheered or asked for encores, applauding him and saying how motivational or joyous or just plain happy his songs were; some even asked him to join their merchant party or battalion in order to raise morale or just make the plain gray scenery a little more cheerful.

Valoran knew the name Mr. Lamb-Lamb, and often wished to hear his voice or the strumming of his Wonder Guitar, and eventually, he even gained a following. Fellow adventurers with a case of wanderlust who happened to run into Laumo often asked to join his side for a stroll, and Laumo gladly accepted the company. Laumo was happy, popular, and was bringing joy to the world where he went. So of course, those who have it all must lose it all.

Laumo's downfall began in a way most unlike him: incredibly boring. He was simply strolling through the Demacian village of Margeaux, hoping to get some supplies for the road ahead. The people were friendly, the day was overcast, and the streets smelled like a combination of dirt and bread. The merchant he bought his rations from wore a red tunic and had an incredibly trimmed mustache. A child that asked him to sing a song had pigtails and wore a bright green dress. The blacksmith who was crafting weapons for the guards wore Demacian blue and had sweat covering her brow. These aspects weren't important to Laumo at the time, but for the days to come, they would be.

Laumo was performing one of his more well-known songs, one about loving one's neighbor, a song requested by the guard in order to raise morale involving the decades-long war with Noxus. The Noxians approaching did not hear this song, nor did they care about loving their neighbor; they wanted to show their power. The watchtower's trumpets blew, signaling the oncoming Noxian army. Guards, who were previously happily listening to Laumo's beautiful music, suddenly grabbed their weapons and prepared for the attack. Laumo, ever positive, tried to stay positive and kept playing.

The Noxian soldiers never approached. Rather, a warlock of immeasurable power approached the front of the line, cloaked in the regal red robes of a Noxian High Caster, and began to channel a spell... or rather, a curse. Guards who could take a shot on the High Caster attempted to fire, but Noxian soldiers simply surrounded the caster and raised their shields to deflect the arrows. Some guards attempted to rush the battalion of soldiers, only to be cut down or shot on the way. When it was shown to be hopeless to attack the High Caster, the guard order a full city evacuation. But it was much, much too late.

The moment the evacuation was called, the High Caster unleashed his power. Casting over the entirety of the village was a black wave of energy, and to those who it touched, it slowly began to petrify them. The first to turn were the valiant guards defending the village, who, by taking the brunt of the spell, turned the fastest as well. Laumo, briefly dropping his normally cheery personality, showed fear at the approaching wave, and ran away as fast as he could.

The wave of energy followed closely behind him, petrifying the slow civilians, such as the little girl with the pigtails, whose dress turned from green to a stoney gray. Laumo, realizing he couldn't outrun the wave, hoped that hiding in one of the market stalls could save his life. As he ran through the market, he saw the merchant in the red tunic petrify, much like the others. Just as the wave was about to reach Laumo, he ducked into the smithy, hiding underneath the worktable. Laumo hoped this would be enough to save his life.

As Laumo cowered in the smithy alongside the other civilians, Laumo felt something he had never felt before: hopelessness. He wasn't sure how long the energy would last, or if the smithy was safe from it at all, and he felt that this village would be his tomb. The blacksmith held a morningstar she had made before the attack in one hand and her hammer in the other, seemingly hoping as if she could fight off the magic. Laumo wasn't so sure he could do anything, and he simply hid in the corner.

When civilians began to scream, and then suddenly stop screaming, in the smithy, he thought his life would be over. When he saw the blacksmith, the last bit of hope he had, starting to petrify, he closed his eyes. When he felt the stone creep up his legs, he accepted his death. The stone was creeping along his body, and Laumo knew this was the end for him. He was at least glad he could make as many people as he did happy.

Laumo snapped his eyes open in shock as he felt a sharp pain in his legs as he saw the blacksmith shattering the stone on his legs. She was somehow alive, though the stone was still very blatantly creeping along her body. She was somehow saving Laumo, at least physically. In a moment of panic, it seemed she discovered she could slow the curse by shattering the stone. After shattering most of the stone along Laumo's body, she helped him up and the two of them attempted to escape the village.

When the two got out of range of the village, Laumo was thankful to the blacksmith, who in turn gifted him the morningstar that she used to save his life. She had her hammer, she'd be okay. Laumo asked if she could accompany him on his journeys in an attempt to find a cure, but she declined, saying that her duty was to Demacia, and even if she'd lose her life to this curse, she'd need to report this to the king somehow. Plus, she seemed to like the stone on her body to an extent, it hardened her, made her more well-suited for withstanding the heat, she said. Laumo laughed cheerfully at the blacksmith's optimism, and said he understood.

As they left, Laumo noticed some of the blacksmith's stone receding during her moment of optimism. Along his own travels, he discovered that simply keeping a good mind about the situation was enough to keep his curse at bay. He now travels, singing and strumming to keep his own spirits lifted, hoping to find a person who could lift his curse. Laumo hopes that his optimism can be enough to keep him, and his songs, around.

Mr. Lamb-Lamb's Quest Around The World

Mr. Lamb-Lamb is going on an adventure around the world! Where will he go? What new friends will he meet? Let's find out!

Mr. Lamb-Lamb started his day as he usually did; stretching what limbs he could in an attempt to crack the stone forming along his body. After removing as much of the terrible stoney curse as he could, Mr. Lamb-Lamb had a lovely breakfast of two eggs and some sausage. Delicious! Eggs and sausage is Mr. Lamb-Lamb's favorite meal, because it's full of protein and healthy for you! After his well-balanced breakfast, Mr. Lamb-Lamb gathered his Wonder Guitar and set out on his quest again.

As Mr. Lamb-Lamb walked along the road, he passed by a friendly rabbit with a bushy white tail and a super cute nose! Mr. Lamb-Lamb wanted to pet the rabbit, but he knew that his curse would likely transfer to the rabbit and cause it to have a slow, painful death by turning into stone, so he knew better. How kind of Mr. Lamb-Lamb to not want to disturb this rabbit in its natural habitat! It might have babies it needs to get back to. Remember: don't mess around with nature unless you know it's safe!

Mr. Lamb-Lamb began to feel sad as he felt the stone creep into his body, so he did the one thing he knew can make anyone happy: he took out his Wonder Guitar and started to play a song! He played a happy little song about seeing friends again after a long time away, giving him hope that he'll eventually be able to return to his home without the worry of infecting everyone he knows and loves with the curse he has.

As Mr. Lamb-Lamb played his song, he noticed some men approaching! But as they got closer, Mr. Lamb-Lamb noticed that they were dastardly bandits! Mr. Lamb-Lamb hoped they would be swayed by his song and let him be; he didn't want to have to fight anyone today, he just wanted to keep going on his adventure. But, troublemakers are troublemakers, and the bandits were not exception. They pointed their weapons at Mr. Lamb-Lamb and told him to give up his Wonder Guitar! Oh no!

But Mr. Lamb-Lamb was smart: he knew what to do to get out of this pickle. Even though he regretted doing it greatly, he knew he could use his curse to turn these bandits to stone. Mr. Lamb-Lamb calmly put away his Wonder Guitar and touched his hand to the ground, channeling all the happy thoughts he had into the ground. He felt much of the stone on his body go away into the ground, spreading towards the evil bandits. When the stone hit the bad guys, they yelped as they realized what Mr. Lamb-Lamb was doing! He had outsmarted them and condemned them to die a slow death as they became statues. Great thinking, Mr. Lamb-Lamb!

And so, Mr. Lamb-Lamb continues his adventure! Do you remember all the lessons we learned today? First: always remember to start you day with a healthy breakfast! Second: don't touch strange animals! Third: If you feel sad, always remember to sing! And finally: there is no cure, there will never be a cure, Mr. Lamb-Lamb is going to be cursed for eternity and will only cause harm to those he meets from now on.

And remember: Have a Wonder-filled day!

I really like the concept of a singer champion (I would say Sona steals the idea in a way, but... I don't think she sings). The kit and lore both seem really good. I do have a couple of thoughts however. I would like to see him as a Bandle City champion. Even if he roams around Valoran I personally prefer to see most champions in a region unless there is a very strong reason why they wouldn't be. But that's a very subjective thing. Also I'd like to see the singer theme embraced, perhaps make him have some actual singing in his voice lines. My biggest criticism in terms of thematic is I think he's dressed to modernly. In league of legends even most champions from areas like Zaun or Piltover have a bit more of a fantasy look in terms of clothes. With the mechanics my only thing is you might want to give him some sort of small counter to crowd control. One thing I've noticed about Juggernauts is they can be hard to balance, do to how hard they are shutdown by crowd control. Whether or not that sounded negative I actually do really like this character. You've got an up vote from me! God bless!

First things first, I love the idea that teams will thrown into disarray when Mr. Lamb Lamb is in their midst.

Now, the kit:

Passive: On its own it would be a good ability for a tank, but for a Juggernaut, a class whose biggest problem is getting to a fight in the first place, it is a fairly substandard passive. Maybe if you move the tenacity effect from the W to the passive at 10 stacks it would work better?

Q: Fairly basic, auto reset that lowers enemy attack speed, movement speed, and gives a Black Cleaver effect. Seems slightly overloaded but not really a big deal.

W: Damage reduction aura that seems a bit large late game (37%), followed but tenacity but. This abilty is odd in that it feels like it belongs to a tank as opposed to a Juggernaut, and the tenacity effect that only kicks in after it's finished, which seems tacked on rather than part of an ability with a clear purpose. I'd move the tenacity to either the passive, or to the beginning of the ability.

E: Not much to say, line of damage with mini-rumble-ult, although the range is a bit large.

Ult: Seems to be specifically designed to screw over Master Yi. I approve.

All in all, the kit is a bit muddied wrt its goals, but I do like the character.
