[LGM Concept]: Veigar's Revenge (Arcade PvE)

After playing Oddessy Extraction, I decided to take some time off & play some Normals. After playing a match as Final Boss Veigar, I had gotten an Idea for a game mode inspired by the Arcade Skin line & Oddessy. So for two hours, I wrote down a first draft & I wanted to share it here.

Veigar's Revenge [PvE] Goal: Defeat the Battle Bosses & free the Arcade from Veigar's grasp in this 5 player Co-Op experience. Difficulties available:

  • Introduction
  • Easy
  • Intermediate
  • Expert
  • Cruel (Arcade equivalent to Onslaught)

Similar to Oddessy Extraction, there will be 4 Rounds & a Final Round. Teams will be given 3 Continues per playthrough, running out of continues results in a game over/defeat. Players will receive a free pair of Boots & 4000g to start, receiving the following rewards per round.

  • Full HP/Resources
  • Bonus Gold for completing the Round

To begin the round, all the players need to stand on the Center Platform. Over the course of each round, players can collect coins dropped by enemies to fill up the progression bar. Unlike Oddessy, there won't be any mining Robots picking up the coins for you. Once the Progression bar is filled, a Battle Boss-Champion will appear & will have to be defeated in order to progress to the next stage. The Battle Bosses have a single phase each, Although they could be given a second "Critical Stage" (Bosses will Regen to half HP & deal increased damage) on Cruel Mode. Unlike Oddessy Kayn, they do not have a time limit.

At the Final Round, players will fight Final Boss Veigar (He's Large & In-Charge) in his Citadel. Veigar has a Regular Phase & a 2nd "Critical Phase", however his Critical Phase different from standard Battle Boss Criticals;

  • Regenerates to Full HP
  • Deals Increased Damage
  • Grows Massive in Size

Also, He does have a time limit thanks to Phenomenal Evil Power, which is amplified by all the energy he's siphoned off the Arcade (Story Details). Players will receive a message around 8-10 minutes in that "Veigar is nearing Infinity" and they should hurry. After 15 minutes, Veigar will cast [R: Primordial Burst] on his Arena, downing all Players & bringing them back to the Ready up room. Phenomenal Evil Power (the passive itself) does not apply to his spellcasts & he will have a set amount of AP to compensate.
