My Boy Olaf Needs Some Help
- If you are like me, then when you first played Olaf, all you wanted to do was make him proud. But alas, every time I play Olaf I feel easily outclassed by every other champion. Olaf is designed to be an all-in champion that should be quite terrifying to face check. You see a poor soul over extended onto your side of the top lane so you pop your ultimate and there is no stopping you, but unfortunately even with your mad axe throwing skills almost every other champion has some sort of dash, leap, or blink. You already popped the ulti so you gotta keep chasing, but you are as easily kited as a mid summers' day. For me this happens quite too often. Olaf may have decent chase down capability, but for an auto attack heavy champion he is too easy to avoid even in close quarters. And I don't want a rework that takes away his auto attack focus and makes him ability focused like what they did to Aatrox. (Not that I dislike the Aatrox rework)
- So here is what I am proposing.
- Add a short leap to his E, so that he becomes pretty sticky once he hits his first auto. His E doesn't seem all that useful to me right now and I just throw it in every once in a while when spamming attacks. With his E having a leap, his kit would be much more fun and utilizing his auto attacks for resets on his E would be a lot more important.
- Increase the cool down on his Q, so that he is more punished for missing the attack as well as having less lane pressure.
Please let me know what you think.
