Would absolutely LOVE to see a mode like 5v5 or even 10v10. Death match style gameplay. Buffs not needed, but could be. Big Map, but with little to hide, but a few walls and/or barriers. LOVE Aram, but feel like the single lane Tug-O-War, is getting a bit old.
Is there a idea in the future of LoL for another map to cycle into the 5v5 normal or ranked system? Other than only the Rift.
Riot does not (to me knowledge) intend to release other maps and/or game modes except as special events.
Doing so runs the risk of fracturing the player base of disrupting the champion / map balance in negative ways, and, as such, I believe isn't really something Riot wants to do.
Riot doesn't want to release new permanent maps because they don't want to support any map besides SR. Even the existing permanent maps have mostly been neglected and ignored by Riot over the years.
