Paper Kit Suggestion: Urgot, the Noxian Terror
Hey there, just FlashnFuse coming at you with another massive kit suggestion. I'll try to keep this one a bit more condensed than some of my previous ones. A lot of the numbers I'm using are very loose, so bear with me please!
New Passive After hitting an enemy champion with a spell, Urgot gains a shield equal to 10-18% of damage he deals for the next 2-8 seconds. Hitting champions with new spells refreshes this effect. After the effect ends, the shield immediately drops off.
The way the math would work out for this would be to have the shield effectively block the same amount of damage as Urgot's current passive, just with more visceral feedback.
New Q Straight line skill shot that pierces through minions, but not champions. After hitting a champion, Urgot tethers himself to that champion and both him and his target become grounded. The tether should last up to 3ish seconds, but can be cancelled by a second cast of Q. The opponent can't move out of the tether range, but Urgot can't move backwards if his target is at the edge of the tether range as well. This skill will deal a decent amount of damage, but is more useful for the utility. Urgot's spammy damage spell will become his new E.
New W Chaff bomb. Urgot creates a zone attached to himself that causes him (and only him) to dodge all ranged autoattacks for 1.5-4 seconds.
The shield has moved from W to the passive, so this is the new 1-point wonder utility spell for Urgot.
New E Noxian Corrosive Grenade. Same range and projectile behavior as current E but with somewhat different effects. Stores 3-5 missiles, faster charge time at higher ranks. The missiles deal a significant amount of damage, while also shredding armor on the target hit.
This is Urgot's new damage/spammable skill. Keeping in the spirit with his old Q.
New R This is probably the most iconic Urgot spell in his current state, and doesn't necessarily work on a marksman. I've changed it around to something else but I'm not quite satisfied with it yet.
New ultimate has several functions, when alive Urgot can cast it to enhance other spells. After dying he can cast it to come back to life (fits into his backstory quite well). After dying cast R to move into a "Zombie-like" state (similar to Kog'Maw). Urgot can move at 75/100/125% movespeed while being untargetable and regaining 35/50/65% max hp. After fully reforming over 3ish seconds, he officially comes back to life and fears all nearby enemies for 1.5ish seconds.
I think this ultimate is somewhere between mind boggling OP or mind numbingly useless, namely because it can't be used when Urgot is alive. To solve that problem Urgot can enhance other spells when he's alive.
R->Q More damage and pushes enemy champion hit to 75% tether range. Let's urgot create distance and kite backwards.
R->W More chaff. Dodges (but DOES NOT destroy) all ranged skill shots that would hit Urgot.
R->E Bigger explosion radius, slows all affected targets and either more damage or more armor shred.
R->R PBAOE fear centered on Urgot. Lasts 2-3ish seconds. Easily the lamest ability but potentially useful.
Any thoughts and feedback would be appreciated. I've been kicking this kit around in my head and haven't really been sure if I should post it or not, so any discussion would be appreciated.
