Krint The Heart of the Void

Pronounced kʊ•rɪnθ

Attack Type: Melee Role: AP Assassin Lane: Jungle Gender: Undefined Faction: Celestial Race: Voidborn Secondary Bar: Respite (uses health for abilities)

Aesthetics I'm a really bad artist so you're going to have to use your imagination. It is an amorphous being made of a black goop that looks like space. It typically takes the shape of a horse. In Agile Mode it looks like a horse with a dragon's head and a large unicorn horn that splits into two smaller moose antlers with a floating orb in the center. The orb is black and has white specks on it like stars. It has the tail of a lion and the end is lit with a black flame. Its skin is pitch black, its mane is made of black fire. Its eyes are bright white with a slight yellowish tint. Its feet look like Ao Shin's (or any other Asian dragon.) Upon entering Aggressive Mode, its orb grows a little and the white specks fade away. Its body gains white specks and gets a dark blueish tint (so it looks like space). Its eyes blaze like fire and gain a bluish tint. Its mane and the flame at the end of its tail grow brighter and turn white. its claws glow white too. It floats around instead of walking and for its auto-attacks it bites at enemies with sharp fangs that form when it opens its mouth. Its sound effects are like Bard's but more ominous and dark. Its joke makes Its antlers grow into a giant tree and its orb becomes leaves. Its taunt makes its orb come out of its antler cage and transforms into a little planet, resembling Earth. The planet then starts to burn until it disappears. Its dance makes it fly around in circles like Bar's taunt, but without a horn. Its laugh makes a loud laughing sound with the same volume across the map. It doesn't move while laughing. (Inspired by the Qilin/Kirin, a Chinese/Japanese myth)

Lore (WIP) Krint was born out of nothing into the void, before it was corrupted. It was originally born in the shape of a human giant, but it kept dripping. It decided to give life to some this spare goop. At first, the little goop creatures were well-behaved and got along well, but as it made larger creatures, they started going crazy, eating each other, murdering for no reason. Saddened by this, Krint wanted to fix its little perfect world. It discovered a portal to the real world, and decided to release all the evils of its universe. Thousands of years in the future, these Voidborns destroy Runterra, so Bard enters the Rift to stop Krint from letting more out. Reluctantly, Krint closes the portal, but the magical essence of Runterra corrupts the void, turning all its creations insane and giving them a burning desire to reach the outside world. All of the Voidborn thirst to reach the outside, no matter what it takes. Krint, fearing its life, re-opens the portal to escape its corrupt, ravaged world. In Runeterra, Krint makes a much more positive difference, its goop helps crops grow faster and larger, cure the sick and injured, and wherever it goes it brings good fortune. Worshiped and treated like a God, Krint enjoys this new, alien world. It cares for all the creatures of Runeterra and goes out of its way to protect anything living. It is said that it wouldn't even step on the grass in fear of harming a single blade. Eventually, it discovers that its creations are breaching their ever-expansive prison. It travels back to Icathia and seeks for Bard for help to save Runeterra. It uses its goop to cover the hole and manages to keep the gate sealed, but no longer has any spare goo. It no longer drips the universal remedy. Bard freezes the entire region in time, permanently. In the process, it destroys the entire lush grassland known as Shurima, replacing it all with golden sand. At first Krint is enraged that Bard would destroy everything, but later realizes that sometimes you must destroy every thing to repair it. Krint follows Bard to the Heavens and lives there with it forever, watching over Runeterra, guarding portals to the void.

Allies: Bard Bard Soraka Soraka Kassadin Kassadin

Enemies/Rivals: Kog'Maw KogMaw Kha'Zix Khazix Rek'Sai RekSai Cho'Gath Chogath Vel'Koz Velkoz Malzahar Malzahar

Any other Voidborn

Strategy In the Jungle, all its abilities essentially place wards, allowing it to have constant vision of what's happening, and in a fight its passive will let it have constant cdr, as all its abilities place it behind them. If you were to lane as Krint, it would be a god-tier farmer, as long as the other laner isn't there. While the enemy laner is there, as all its abilities are single target and do less damage than their aggressive counterpart, making it hard to farm. The point of Agile mode is to catch up, not to run away, and the point of Aggressive mode is to deal high magic damage. When you gank, you need to get the kill fast, before you switch to Agile mode, so you can have the highest possible damage output. However, if they manage to escape, Agile mode allows you to teleport in and out instantly. With its ultimate(as either mode) it can amplify the effectiveness of each form, since Agile mode's passive is more offensive and Aggressive modes abilities are as well(and vice versa for agility.)

Be as cruel as needed with your feedback, as long as I can use it to improve the concept.

Quick tip: there's a difference between cruel and constructive. You want constructive. Cruel is just pointless.

Fortunately, I only deal in constructive (yet harsh) criticism.

You switch forms too fast to even use the poorly-named Aggressive Form's abilities. 2 seconds is not enough time to get within a reasonable range due to your Q outranging your W and E. Leaving wards behind is incredibly overwhelming due to how many you can have out at once. Holy cow. There's a reason why everyone is capped to 3 stealth wards - previously, everyone in pro play had so many wards, the entire map was lit up. That killed the pace of gameplay since no one would fight.

I can't make heads or tails on most of the balance due to the lack of numbers. Look up other champions' numbers and keep them in mind when you do yours. Don't toss out numbers randomly, that leads to useless or overpowered abilities.

Your Q's ability to teleport you to the other side of a wall makes the dude nearly ungankable with godly mobility. That's about ult-level movement right now.

From what I can assess, you have a simply silly amount of mobility with your W and E, and absolutely nothing you can do with it by virtue of only doing "minor" damage. Assassins are mobile, yes, but they're also able to vaporize targets on demand if they get all their stuff off.

Your ult is literally unusable due to requiring you to get three kills or assists. You're not getting kills without damage, leaving you with having to rely on teammates to constantly help. Agile Mode's ult is really cool (save for hiding from allied champions - don't do that). Aggressive Mode's ult is really un-cool by virtue of doing too much AND screwing up friendlies in the area. Don't do that. Focus on one or two things to do with that ult.

You're going to need some numbers, some looking at other champions, and some thinking about what, exactly, you want to do and how you want to do it. Don't just toss out something only because you thought it was cool - put some effort into it, compare to similar ideas, and see if it can stand strong in comparison to the current roster.

Lore - The lore is.. er. weird XD. I like the creation of Shurima, but it doesn't really make any sense. Bard only comes after Relics and weapons, not portals to the void. Also, when did this turning of Shurima happen, nasus created the Ascension, and he has been alive for like, forever. Although I haven't heard this is a while, it isn't paced very well. There is a great lack of description, and all we learn is that Krint doesn't like the void because it is bad. That's a very linear and flat personality that needs to be deepened.

Passive - Both passives seem pretty solid. The vital passive is balanced, and can set up some fun gameplay. The ward one is also balanced, it only lasting 30 seconds makes sense also thematically. The rest of the kit works well with the agility passive, but the aggressive passive, (why aggressive when you place wards behind you?) doesn't have as much fun mechanics, as it doesn't wind into the kit, and is just an add on. It also seems like it will be a little clunky to use.

Q - It is a ice ability that works well with the agility passive. It might be a bit annoying having the clone attacking you from behind, but i need to know its range and whether it is stationary, or if it follows the enemy, or if it can be controlled.

W - This seems like a really powerful ability in both versions, becoming immune is always really powerful in general. Not much else needs to be a said, a sort of simple dash.

E - You have so much easy power with this ability. You gust W and then E them into your team, and you become safe because you can just teleport back to them, so you aren't in a big risk.

R - For the agile version, it seems really powerful, getting a infinite invisibility by just staying near them. You can't be targeted by towers either, and im guessin that means fountain to. It is way too powerful with almost no counterplay. If you try to run away, you also have a 5 second invisibility. This really needs to be nurfed. I am a fan of the other version, having a slowing field that slows everything is cool, but why has he got it? he was something from the void that turned nice, why does he have an aggressive version if he is just nice. It also seems kinda boring though. It just completely slows down gameplay, literally.

Overall, a fun champ with some unique spells. It definitely needs some changes to numbers and lore.
