Possible Chat Restriction Change for Next Season

A thought had occurred to me due to the offer of being able to have till February to get honor up to level 2 again.. and also due to reading a Riot Support commentary to someone else (the person posted the commentary on the boards while leaving names out of it) that...:

Because Chat Restrictions, especially the 10 game one, is not meant to feel like this heavy punishment... It could be an idea to lessen the amount of honor that is dropped because of a chat restriction.

For example for the 10 game chat restriction, it could be an honor drop of 2 levels. Honor 5 will drop to Honor 3, Honor 3 will drop to Honor 1... and after the 2 tier drop it could lock at that spot for X amount of games (however long for normal unlocking).

For 25 game chat restriction it could drop 3 tiers. Honor 5 to honor 2, Honor 3 to Honor 1... then lock after the 3 tier drop.

The rest of the punishment system would work as normal with the honor etc.

This would allow the chat restriction to enforce that it is not meant to be a heavy punishment, while still allowing those that had many games of decent behavior to be eligible for ranked rewards without needing to spend months just to get it back up to level 2. Those that have been been consistently good with their chat will not feel so slighted by a simple bad day. It would still hit their key collection, but overall it would just be a warning that "hey, if you don't stop doing this, then you are going to lose out on quite a bit."
