Singed, The Mad Chemist

Singed is a melee bruiser that fights with a variety of potions (and occasionally his fists) and scales with Ability Power. Singed excels at poisoning his opponents and reducing their mobility with extremely strong adhesives. He also can drink some of his potions in order to enhance his abilities directly.

Passive Singed has a dedicated item, the Potion Satchel, that cannot be sold or upgraded. This item stores Singed's potions. The Potion Satchel has both a passive and an active.

Passive: Singed gets a small boost to his Ability Power (1% for levels 1-5, 2% for levels 6-10, 3% for levels 11-18) and Armor(10 for levels 1-5, 20 for levels 6-10, 30 for levels 11-18).

Active: Singed drinks the potion currently inside the Potion Satchel, gaining its effects for 30 seconds and putting the Potion Satchel and Choose a Potion on cooldown for 60 seconds.

Poison Potion [Q] Cooldown: 9/8/7/6/5 Magic Damage: 45/60/75/90/105+30% AP Mana Cost: 30/40/50/60/70 Target Range: 800 Effect Radius: 200 Trail Radius: 20

Singed throws a Poison Potion at the target location, which leaves behind a poison cloud for 4 seconds. If Singed runs through the poison cloud, a trail of poison will then follow him for 10 seconds. Enemies in the poison cloud are poisoned for 2/2.5/3/3.5/4 seconds, taking magic damage every 1 second.

Adhesive Potion [W] Cooldown: 17/15/13/11/9 Mana Cost: 60/70/80/90/100 Target Range: 1000 Effect Radius: 200

Singed throws an Adhesive Potion at the target location, which leaves behind a pool of adhesive for 3 seconds. Enemies in the field are slowed by 50% and grounded.

Choose A Potion [E] Cooldown: 1/1/1/1/1 Mana Cost: 0/0/0/0/0

Singed toggles through the 3 different enhancement potions in his Potion Satchel.

More Power!: This potion increases Singed’s Attack Damage, Ability Power and Magic Penetration by 10/20/30/40/50.

I Built The Wall: This potion increases Singed’s Armor and Magic Resist by 6/12/18/24/30. Health Regen is also increased by 8/16/24/32/40 per 5 seconds.

Catch Me If You Can: This potion increases Singed’s Movement Speed by 20%, Tenacity by 10% and gives Singed ghosting. Mana Regen is also increased by 8/16/24/32/40 per 5 seconds.

Down The Potions! [R] Cooldown: 180/160/140 Mana Cost: 40/60/80

Singed drinks all of the potions he has on his person. This transforms his body into a controlled force of destruction for 45 seconds, giving him new abilities and enhancing all of his stats.

  • [New] Passive

All stats increase by (10%/12%/14%), his Potion Satchel becomes inactive for the duration and any active Potion Satchel effects disappear.

  • [New] Poison Barrage [Q] Magic Damage: 50/90/130+50% AP Cooldown: 10/9/8 Mana Cost: 50/50/50 Target Range: 1200 Effect Radius: 300

Singed throws a large quantity of Poison Potions towards a large area randomly, poisoning and knocking back enemies hit. The poison damage scales with Poison Potion’s rank.

  • [New] Sticky Situation [W] Cooldown: 12/12/12 Mana Cost: 100/100/100 Effect Radius: 350

Singed slams a large amount of his adhesive onto the ground which slowly oozes out around him, snaring Singed for 3 seconds and all enemies adjacent to him for 1 to 2 seconds, varying on their distance from Singed. Enemy champions on the outer edge are slowed while they remain in the field.

  • [New] Shield Charge [E] Magic Damage: 80/120/160+80% AP Cooldown: 12/10/8 Mana Cost: 100/110/120 Charge Range: 700 Throw Distance: 300

Singed charges forward with his shield stopping at the first enemy champion hit, tossing them over his shoulder with his shield.

This rework idea aims to turn Singed into a proper bruiser with the ability to get in close and still have the capability of poisoning and slowing everyone near him. The change’s primary focus is to enhance Singed’s gameplay by adding a new mechanic, similar to Viktor’s Hextech Core, in that he has to keep up with various potions which enhance his abilities but also give him that extra level of dynamic play that is currently not there on Singed. When using his ultimate it turns Singed into a juggernaut who is more interested in brawling up close and getting dirty than trying to whittle down his opponents with science.

By modifying his gameplay as described above my hope is that Singed will be a more common and much more useful pick both for teamfights as well as his ability to solo enemy champions.

Optional Ideas for the Potion Satchel Satchels can be specialized in one of the 3 trees making him unable to use the other 2 trees and unable to purchase standard potions from the shop. Singed becomes only able to use his own specialized satchel and gains the custom buff “Singed scoffs at the idea of ‘store bought potions’ and becomes unable to use any potions but his own.”

These upgrades for his Potion Satchel will be greatly enhanced and can be purchased any time after level 9. Singed can still use store bought health potions and the refillable potion.

Edit: Adjustment to Singed's Ultimate Passive regarding usage of the Potion Satchel. Also added scaling to the Ultimate Passive to help fold better into all stages of the game.

sounds pretty cool but i don't know about the time duration on his ult or his e. Like i know the e and r are made to give him a huge power boost but unless you buy a item 2045 your stuck using you e only once every 60s and as a basic ability that might not be a good idea and the ult and e both last for a pretty long time as well. But on the positive side, i like how singe now has to make choices rather than dive bomb in and use his e to either kill, tank or flee/be annoying
