Vampiric Passive Idea

I just got an idea that I feel could be perfect for a vampire bruiser-type champion, or potentially for an Aatrox rework.

Dealing damage to enemies with abilities and killing minions grants Blood. Basic attacking consumes Blood to heal you. Heals for a reduced amount when attacking minions.

Thoughts? Maybe thoughts on abilities to go with this?
