Season 9?

I have a few thoughts about the Season 9 ranking system and how to show off the previous season's rank.

1. (Not really sure if this has been discussed) I saw a post (https://nexus.leagueoflegends.com/en-us/2018/04/dev-updates-to-ranked-for-2019/) regarding next season's ranking system, and the 1 rank for each lane. While this could be a good idea, I feel as if it won't do much good for the game. Its mentioned somewhere in the post/comments that it prioritizes your lane with a higher rank, which I don't necessarily agree with. I think that they should keep the one rank, and maybe add something that gives you more lp if you win while autofilled, or you lose less lp if you lose while autofilled (This is an idea I saw in the comments) I realize that the idea is to make matchmaking more fair, but there really isn't a way to do that if you consider smurfs, and it isn't unheard of-of people who purposely lose to stay in lower ranks.
2. It's mentioned near the end of the article that we should add ideas of how to show off your previous rank, which I think can be as simple as just adding something like your mastery rank, just your last seasons ranked rank.
