So the title of this thread is a sort of pun, but at the same time is the tag I've been recently associating my champion concept with.

I'm not particularly good with background story, so most of this post will revolve around champion abilities, game-play, usage, possible strategies, etc. instead of lore - but for those of you that love the lore:

Pyrite was born to a homeless widowed woman of Zaun as Shawn Marks. They lived a poor yet content life with Shawn's mother taking care of him despite the cruel surrounding environment. At the age of 11 Shawn's mother was taken by Dr. Edmundo and killed in one of his heinous experiments, forcing the young boy to forage for himself from then on. As a new orphan Shawn was forced to learn the art of stealing and deception in order to survive. As the years passed, Shawn gathered around other orphans forced into the same way of life as he and took to leading them under the same virtues as that of Robin Hood. Through their actions the band of homeless thieves stole from the laboratories and factories of Zaun attempting to spread some of the wealth into the slums; however this proved a mistake as it brought notice to the slums from the officials of Zaun and led to many raids in an attempt to recover the artifacts stolen from the labs. During the repeated invasion of the slums many of Shawn's friends were either captured for experimentation or killed in the process of trying to defend what little material they had to their name. Exhausted and distraught by the death of his new family Shawn planned one final job to rob the Council of Zaun and try to make off with as many artifacts as he could before leaving the city. Once in the vaults of the council Shawn began pilfering as much loot as he could carry, without heavily handicapping his movement, when he noticed what seemed like a solid ball of energy off to the side of the room. He went to inspect it but as he touched the mysterious orb his body seemed to absorb it resulting in a huge shock wave that both knocked him out and broke the surrounding walls. As the blackness faded from his eyes Shawn noticed guards pouring through entrance of the vault. Taking what strength he had left he heft himself onto his feet and made an escape through one of the destroyed walls. Now on the run from the city itself, Shawn made his way to the sewers to escape from under ground. Once outside the city he noticed, in the grim sunlight, that whatever it was that he had absorbed had turned the fingers and back of his left hand, along with the top of his arm, and crawling up the the side of his neck - into a silver/gold-esque material, yet leaving his palm and underside of his arm clear. Quickly after he discovered that whatever material or substance his figured hand or arm touched soon became the same material that covered his skin. Now with an unavoidable brand and forever on the run Shawn becomes a traveling thief. To roam and steal to live, yet never stopping or becoming rich, for his curse which makes men gold would surely make him a dead man. Years later, a middle-aged Shawn, traveling down a street of Demacia, hears rumors of a legendary thief that leaves gold wherever he goes. Authorities in different areas have taken to calling him Pyrite - for only a fool would steal only to leave gold in its place.

If Trying to Survive hits 3 separate champions then Pyrite is refunded double Trying to Survive's cost

R - Gifts to the Poor Cooldown: 240/210/180 seconds Range: Global (active) / 400 (passive) Cost: N/A Passive - Pyrite increases the passive gold income of nearby allies by 2x. Okay, so I don't have time to write up my thoughts behind this champion at the moment, but I will do so soon. In the mean time, let me know what you think so I can revise and edit him [slayer-pantheon-rainbows]

His passive and ult are absolute bullshit, there is nothing from keeping someone from going full AA and never using abilities, snowballing hard as hell with items and reaming every lane.

I can see potential here - but since you said you didnt have time to jot down your thoughts behind him I'd like to see that as well as strategic uses you see in the champion.
