Iknar, the Blood Lord

Iknar is an Ionian who was kidnapped from his home by Noxians at a young age and used as a human guinea pig for their twisted experiments with blood magic. I plan on doing a more complete lore for him when the Noxian lore update releases so that I can make it alongside the newly canon lore.

For now, let's just get on with his kit and gameplay.

Iknar is based on a vampire, but in an interesting way. It's all too easy to just see "vampire" and automatically give him vast amounts of lifesteal. I didn't want to take him in that direction, as having too much in-combat healing tends to be a bit overpowered and it ends up getting gutted and reworked later (AHEM Aatrox).

Instead, he has a resource called Satiation, and I'll explain al that in his kit.

Passive: Sanguine Satiation: Dealing damage grants Satiation, a resource that gradually decays after 10 seconds out-of-combat into a heal and is also used to cast his abilities. If he is below 25% Satiation, once per combat, his first attack will restore him to 25%.

After level 11, Satiation will not naturally decay below 10% of his max, however returning to the fountain by any means will set it back down to 0.

Satiation will only decay out of combat if it would heal him.

Finally, his abilities deal more damage based on his current Satiation.

Max Satiation: 100/200/300/400 at levels 1/6/11/16 Satiation per instance of damage: 5/20/35/50 Out of Combat Heal: Drain 10/20/30/40 Satiation per 2 seconds to heal 25/75/125/175 (+3/4.5/6/7.5% missing health) Bonus Damage: 1/2/3/4% per 40 Satiation

Q: Vampire's Blade: Dash forward a short, fixed distance, dealing damage as you dash and drawing a sword made of blood that then swings in a cone, again dealing damage to enemies hit. Enemies can be hit by both to count as 2 instances of damage per enemy for Sanguine Satiation. The cone is shorter on the left than it is on the right, as the sword is still being created from his blood as he swings it.

The sword gives +50 attack range and bonus AD for the duration of combat.

Vampire's Blade gains 1% CDR per 400 Max Health you have.

Dash Damage: 30/60/90/120/150 (+60% AD) Cone Damage: 10/25/40/55/70 (+30% AD) to 40/65/90/115/140 (+60% AD) as the range increases. Cost: 30/40/50/60/70 Satiation Cooldown: 16/14/12/10/8 seconds AD Steroid: 5/10/15/20/25

W: Bloodhunter: For 3/3.25/3.5/3.75/4 seconds after casting, attack at the attack speed cap and gain a heal on-hit equal to the amount per tick that you heal off of Sanguine Satiation, but your basic attacks deal less damage for the duration. If you have the sword out, the heal doubles and you will blink after opponents within 350 range to hit them (2 second cooldown).

Damage Reduction: 30% (-3% per 10% max health you have) (basic attacks still deal 70% AD, increasing based on your current health to back to 100% if you're full health) Cost: 20 Satiation Cooldown: 14/12.5/11/9.5/8 seconds

E: Mist Form: Disburse into mist, becoming untargetable and moving significantly faster for a few seconds. Enemies standing inside the mist are Nearsighted. As you reform, shoot blood spikes into the center of the mist, dealing damage to enemies inside.

Damage: 80/105/120/135/150 (+100% Base AD) (+6% your max health) Movement speed: 20/45/70/95/120% Cost: 70/90/10/130/150 Satiation (yes, if you max this first, level 5 you will be completely unable to cast it as the cost exceeds your max Satiation) Duration: 1.5/1.75/2/2.25/2.5 seconds Cooldown: 25/24/23/22/21 seconds

R: Drain Blood: After a brief windup, lunge yourself at a target in melee range, latching onto them if you connect to deal damage over 1.5 seconds. If the target dies, instantly refill back to full Satiation and any Satiation over the cap turns into a heal as if you were out of combat (as an example, level 6 you have 200 max Satiation. Say you're at 100 and you kill your lane opponent using Drain Blood. You gain 100 Satiation and the other 100 turns into a heal).

Damage: 150/300/550 (+1% target's missing health per 40 AD) Cost: 0 Satiation Cooldown: 140/130/120 seconds.
