[Champion Concept] Tessa"The Queen Bee"

Ive always had the idea of a champion based off of bee's! i mean seriously their that one insect that everyone loves/hates and i thought it would be appropriate to make a concept on my thoughts and ideas on a bee based champion! :D i mean after all we do have elise... ew spiders icky

Type:Mage/(secondary)Support, Ranged I do NOT own the image, it is from Deviant art by:Yangtianli anyways! lets jump right in! an enemy to Elise. Lore may end up comeing later, i have to think harder about it and write it out sophisticated, lol

Her basic attack she sends out a little bee and it stings them just looks like a little bee shooting from her hand area, (note):(she has little bee's flyeing around her) they are her auto attacks

Abilities:

Passive:Slather-Useing tessas abilities causes a stack of Honey, the first hit she applies will slow the enemy for40/50/70% per ability, the stack resets after her 3rd ability(pretty much to say bee's pollinate whatever they go by, so it makes it sticky and honey like i guess cx) the slow lasts 2 seconds each time it hits.

Q:Deadly sting-Tessa skillshot shoots her stinger and it deals damage and poisons the first enemy hit, it does not pass through minions or champions, (FIRST THING HIT) It can hit minions and it can hit monsters and it can hit champions, sorta in the range of ahri's charm, (note:bees have very little poison in their stings, i just thought it made sense) cooldown, 7 seconds , AP on target damage per level 60/80/95/110/135, Mana cost 55/60/65/70/75 (range:960)(since she is the queen she doesnt have to only use 1 stinger and die, she is eternal! c: just a thought

W:Sacrifice-Tessa sends out a bee that goes out and stings her targeted enemy, this stacks to 3 bee's so you can use 3 to sacrifice their lives as if akalis ultimate would work, im sorry i dont know what i would call that load thing? or teemos ulti like that kind of wierd cooldown thing, the damage each one deals is 55/75/90/105/130 (+10 ap) to the targeted enemy champions only, mana cost is always 65 mana, cooldown is 5 seconds per each one, but like i said, it stacks to 3, so you can use 3 if you have all 3, within 1 second apart from each time you use it, (sorry if this is confuseing i can fix it, soon) Range-600

E:Pollinate, Tessa and her bees pollinate herself and all nearby allies granting increased movespeed and armor for a decent duration of time equivalent to 5seconds/6.5/7.5/9/10.5 seconds per level, Grants decent armor as well, but you guys might need to help me with that, because im not good at measuring armor haha cx cooldown in 15 seconds, Mana cost-80

R:Swarm!-Tessa calls forth her bee's to attack the targeted enemies in the area, they attack over time, of about 10 seconds stinging and the people caught up in the swarm get deal damage every (no poison) every 0.5 seconds, cooldown 110 seconds, magic Damage per half second 100/160/240/310/400(plus 13% ap) Mana cost-60/75/90/105/120 (range:700) the ultimate works similar to viktors c: i would say (just thought about this btw LOL, didnt realize haha)

Speaking:

Movement: -"BzzZZzzzzzZZZzz" -"Ghaa, fly faster!" -"Stupid little wings!" -"Onward" -"I AM! Your queen! -"Neal before me" -"Come, my children"

Attacking: -"Feel the sting" -"Does it hurt? i hope so!" -"Bzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzz" -"Too easy" -"I WILL conquer ALL!"

Taunt: Gathers forth bee's coming from nowhere, LOTS and LOTS of them -"Want to battle us?, (chuckles), You and what army!? -"You have NOTHING against us!" -"The enemies WILL fall!"

Joke: Floats down, and a yellow flower thrown appears, she sits on it -"Let me teach you about, the birds, and the BEE'S!" -"These wings just cant hold me up ALL the time, can they"

Laugh: Normal laughing, kind of sinister, or like a elise laugh? yah know

(Recall animation)-Her flower thrown appears and she sits in it as her bee's bring her a crown and place it on her head "I WILL be back, but it's time for my daily pampering" "Yes! i can feel the power running through me!" "whoops, i almost forgot to pollinate, be right back"

(Death animation)-Her wings break off and she falls down looks up then dies (all of the bees drop dead after she dies) "Ive, been, squashed, ghuh" "Ghaaaa, ghuh"

Upon useing Deadly sting: -"Feel the sting!" -"STING!"

upon useing Sacrifice -"STING THEM!" -"Thank you, my children"

Upon useing Pollinate -"FINALLY FASTER!" -"I WILL NOT BE STOPPED!"

Upon useing SWARM! -"GET THEM!!!" -"SWARM THEM!!!" -"NOW MY CHILDREN, ATTACK!!!"

I hope you guys like my idea! Ive spent a LOT of time on it! (this is pretty early thoughts, so some things could be manipulated with to tweek her into a better champion, for ex, something she says or does might change on account of a lore! c:) Can WAIT to see the ideas guys, <3 <3 <3 try and give me some good information about stuff and help me out ok! because i feel like i might need help haha!

I love bees, despite the stingers I like to think they're actually very friendly!

Wasps and hornets on the other hand can go die in a hot and sticky fire.

Wow awsome concept.Srly like the picture. :))

Now some negavite feedback(im sry to do this).Her kit seems well made,but also identity lacking. You should have chosen which role you want her to fill. :(

Very cool concept. I agree with the idea of making swarm her ult. Also maybe change her passive to apply a honey debuff that slows a champ the more stacks of it they have on them (max 4 stacks/80% slow). The beehives seem fun but they would have to add to her ward count and because we already have two lane control champs with summonable things, with one just being released, the hives wouldn't work well as her new w. Instead make her w throw pollen at an enemy (lock on ability/not a skillshot) and causes the bees around her to to fly to the enemy champ one at a time and sting them for about 3 seconds.

I'm in for a bee-champion, but not if she's gonna be anthropomorphized like the picture you posted. I want something like Rammus.

Bees are always fun. League needs bees.

That being said, that particular art makes me think of Elise immediately.

A Bee theme champion would be awesome, honestly one my top theme for a champion, because i am really terrifed on bees and i think they do has a great champion.

I'd love bees or wasps in league. Don't care about position or abilities as long as the ult summons hordes or bee minions to sting whole teams to death. Concept art looks awesome too. Rito plz notice this!

Here is my idiea. Make Swarm her Ultimate, not basic skill, calling a swarm should always be a ultimate. Make her passive be her W, change a bit on number and CD and not be only usable on brush. Make her passive be related to pheromones.

Firstly, I really, really love this champion concept and If it ever ends up in the store, I would buy it and gift it to my friends! But yeah, I agree with some of the comments here, that her "Swarm!" would rather be a great Ultimate than a basic skill ! Also, you could add some catchy quotes when she ults, like Skarner does when he grabs an ennemy, etc, etc (Just my opinion, though). Can't wait to see the development! Go luck with your idea, it's amazing! (Great artwork by the way)

SHE IS A BEE. WHY DOES SHE HAVE BREASTS?? Smdh, I thought this topic would be about some awesome bee-like void monster or something, not another Elise (and even then at least Elise has her Spider form...) I guess I should've known better 'cause of Tessa's name, it not being a void name and all.

Also, Mage/Support? Just...no. Please no. We have too many female support champions already. Sona, Soraka, Zyra, Karma, Lux, Leona, Orianna, Kayle, Morgana, Syndra, Nami, Ashe, Janna, Anivia, Lulu...that's a staggering 15/23 supports being female, with 10 of those being Mage/Supports. It makes Riot's intentions seem even more suspicious when only 10 out of the 61 fighter champions are female (yep. It's that bad). So yeah, let's drop this sexist trend of tossing female champions into the less aggressive and more fragile roles, particularly Support and especially Mage/Support.

So, as a final criticism of Tessa: she needs a major makeover. Remove any and all humanoid aspects of her artwork; she is an insect, not a porn star. Make her something more viable of a bee queen, like a Fighter/Mage (have her autoattack with her own stinger) and tweak her skills to better fit a primary fighter theme. She has a lot of potential to be something unique and non-stereotypical; please, for the love of God, seize that opportunity.

I'm glad I am not the only person that thought of a bee related champion. You did a good job describing the abilities. What do you think her first skin would look like?
