Seriously though we need a new skin for Illaoi. Champs newer than her are getting new skins so why skip Illaoi? I personally dont care what it is as long as we get a new skin for her its been too long all she has is Void and its cool and all but theres so much purple tentacles I can take before it drives me nuts.
A few champions that came out same time/after her have already gotten 2 or more skins, it's frightening.
but heres the thing, Skinning her is difficult as mandatorialy it will likely have to be a 1350 or 1820 (or more) skin, her tentacles have to change. They don't make pallet swaps much, so maybe a Winter or Harrowing skin (but void covers that one already), Dunkmaster could make sense or Sungodess type thing.
Maybe a 750 joke skin ("beared lady/gypsy(Esmerelda) fortune teller skin") next april? But riot has never commented on anything being in the works or that they are even bouncing ideas around, and the best the community has come up with is Atlantean and Dunkmaster (which is admittedly thematically appropriate if a legendary/ultimate skin, as one could see her as a basketball player easily). However they cannot put out a Legendary skin before a 975 skin (as they promise 975 skins for champions with only 1 skin first for their listed reasons, so Taliyah and Illaoi will likely never get proper skins, but maybe we will see a joke skin or legendary when they finally think of a good 975 skin).
Chroma is VERY likely possibility as you can do a lot with her base skin and it is quite nice.
