NEW CHAMPION IDEA!: I think a great new champion idea that is long overdue would be a shark based champion. It could be half shark and half human. It would make for a fantastic jungler, especially if it had a passive that made him stronger if her fought in the river. The human champions are cool and all, but so many people I know keep begging for more tough/cool/aggressive and animalistic options. A big great white shark lurking around in the river chomping down on champs would something that many people would buy. I'd pay $50-$100 for that guy!

I keep imagining this funky looking reverse mermaid. With a buff upper body and head of a shark, making him a triangle shape that's top-heavy. It does actually have room for a distinct silhouette that stands against the rest.

Yeah, I think it's something Riots developers could consider.

Nice idea, and I don't like dismissing, but the question follows - how would they play?

RekSai was definately designed around the idea of "Land-Shark" and plays like one (submerged most of the time with a "fin" showing their location; bursting out of the ground to chomp and slash for damage; diving/ swimming under "terrain"). She's also mainly a jungler as well AND a ADC diver with her ult. How would your suggested champ differ from this?

Aatrox has a Hammer-head Skin which fits the "Half-Human/ Half Shark" idea you suggested too.

The idea of swimming up/ down the river is a Rune which gives move speed when in the river, so thats available to most - including RekSai Rek and Aatrox Aartrox.

Not trying to stomp your idea - more trying to understand it. In the end i respect its all hyperthetical fun.

I DO like the passive idea - but maybe NOT for Reksai. Maybe Nami instead? She is a mermaid who is typically a support, and her powers come FROM water (water bubble, tidalwave, rebounding water, etc...) so maybe she gets extra INNATE move speed in the river as a passive alternative?

Actually, Riot's shown statistics that show that people don't actually like animalistic champs. All of the said champs have noticeably low play rates with the exception of (at the time) Cho'Gath, who was completely insane.
