A Desperately Needed Change to Player Ranking System

I'm sick and tired of getting dragged down to Bronze V ranking because of other bad players on my team. Obviously, not everyone has a solid team of 5 people to play whenever so I go and play with random people in ranked. I rarely get people on my team that are any good. Yet, when I have a KDA of 12/2/2 or better and my team loses because we have a couple of feeders on my team, I get dragged down in ranking thanks to them.

Why can't the ranking system be based on individual performance?!

This should not be so hard to implement since Riot already measures our individual performance for keys and chest awards. "TEAM" RANKING IS UNFAIR. I can't be the only one that feels this way about the awful ranking system.
