There was three key elements to Kayle before her rework.

  • Kayle can go from melee to ranged.
  • Kayle must be an AP Marksman.
  • Kayle's ability to support ( W, R. ) remains.

Marksman / Battlemage

Quick lore: Basing this on back on Kayle prework. Runeterra isn't new to ancients and aspects whom cause mischief, but a warrior sent by a higher being beyond comprehension; Kayle. Kayle fights for only to balance justice and to purge Runeterra of the greatest threat soon to implode the world, The Watchers.

Quick Lore Update: Morgana. Morgana, was the eldest of the three seraph sisters of justice. The youngest sister, died after a terrible incident involving a species which even the gods know not of, the Void. Morgana traverse into the deepest parts of Void Rifts, executing the said "Watcher" Velkoz. Kayle, called her remaining sister out as unworthy; to kill without her own moral reason is to imbalance justice.

Passive: Intervention Range: 1300 2.5 second cooldown

Kayle intervenes conflict between two opposing champions. Champions near Kayle are justified. Enemy champions have their damage cut by 15 - 70% ( Based on level ) on their next ability. Ally champions have their damage increased by 5 - 50% ( Based on level ) on their next ability. This has a 15 second cooldown on each champion, and targets the champion who most recently killed within your proximity.

Q: Radiant Blast

Kayle blasts a target with holy fire, applying on-hit effects and slowing them by a decaying 20% for 3 seconds. If the target has the most kills, this stuns for 1.75 seconds and 20% is converted into true damage. If the target has the least kills, this slows for 50% for 1 second and heal back 20%.

W: Seraph's Blessing

Kayle heals an ally, also granting them movement speed; which bounces to the enemy who last damaged them, dealing half-damage and reversing the movement speed.

E: Celestial Blessing - Toggle

Passive: Kayle is melee, with 200 range; gaining 10/20/30/40/50 bonus Attack Damage, Armor and Magic Resistance. Active: Kayle is ranged, with 675 range; gaining 25% Omnivamp and 10/20/30/40/50 movement speed.

R: Judgement

Kayle roots herself for 3 seconds, taking out a scale and looking away; making a 1250 unit circle. During this time, champions cannot receive crowd control. At the end of the channel, enemy champions are executed with holy fire, dealing 50 / 60 / 70% of the damage they've done to allied champions as true damage over 1.5 seconds.
