Ninja champion idea?

I was talking with a friend about cool ideas for champions and we started talking about another ninja champion. We thought i would be cool to have a apprentice to zed (his best student) something because he feels a little lonely (you gotta feels sorry for that guy no friends while your "brother" has a squad). We couldn't think of to many abilities that would feel different enough from zed to make him/her unique enough to be a champion and i was wondering if anyone else had ideas.

One main idea i had to separate them from zed was by have abilities use different types of shadows and not just mimics.

I would love to here some other ideas so please leave your thought! :) thx
