Arcade (whack-a-yordle) Poppy
So, this has been something that’s been floating around in my mind a lot, especially since I love poppy’s overall character and design. Me and my friend was looking over the arcade skins and talking about how cool they were, what makes them cool, etc, etc.
But then I brought up the suggestion of an arcade poppy skin. I’m unsure what her outfit design would be, still thinking it over and planning on sketching out a few concept ideas, but my favorite idea I came up with for arcade poppy is her overall concept as the arcade skin. Her favorite game? Wack-a-yordle (wack-a-mole)
Her hammer would be a typical gaming hammer you’d see at any arcade where it’s hard up until the end parts of the actual hammer which is squishy and bouncy. Her back animation would be a a wack-a-yordle game coming up and her frantically trying to hit the yordles that pop up, tragically missing them all until Teemo pops up and hits him so hard it breaks the game in half, to which she sweatdrops and rubs the back of her head in an ‘oops~’ kind of way.
You know how her ult when it’s used, something comes out of the ground for visual effects? Rocks, presents, whatever? Well when she uses her ult, the yordles come out of the ground when it’s used.
Her passive when she throws it out could be a yordle token (tokens you use to play games in arcades) and when you pick it up a cheer sound or level up sound can go off! (extra cute if a +1 appears above her head)
Her death animation would be kinda like a pac man theme? You know the strange sound you hear when pac man dies and get's X's over his eyes, kinda how I see poppy's death animation. She throws her hammer on accident, hits her in the head to where she stiffs up and he eyes turn to X's, then the poor thing falls down and slowly blinks out of existence, while also playing the pac man like death music.
Besides that I’m still thinking on what other visual effects she would have, her overall design, etc. what do you all think so far of what I have? And what would you like to see arcade Poppy have? [poppy-wink] [sg-poppy]
