[Champion Concept] Yu'ul, the Spectral Tamer

Yu'ul was a strong, kind woman that lived on the Isles before the Black Mist engulfed it. She had spent her days taming, herding, and raising animals. She became well known as one of the most successful beast tamers throughout Runeterra.

However, while Yu'ul was working with one of her newest beasts, she heard the others stirring wildly in their pens. She went to check what was wrong, but when she got there, she couldn't spot anything that would cause such a stir.

Within a few seconds, without any time to react, Yu'ul was engulfed in the Black Mist that had now covered the once beautiful Isles. She yelled in pain as she felt her body begin to deteriorate. However, she did not die. Rather, once the pain had ceased, she noticed that she was no longer her old self. Her body was that of a specter; dark, misty, and violently twisting around. Her mind slowly began to alter her own reality. She began to see people as animals that needed to be tamed and herded.

She was able to move swiftly, being one with the Black Mist, and had made her way to a distant land, one she had never been before. She saw a village, the yellow glow of their lights piercing the nighttime shadows. She grew angry, and strode in haste towards the village, the Black Mist following her.

After only a couple of minutes, the small village was completely deceased. Not a single soul was left to tell what had happened.

#Character Description

Yu'ul is a spectral woman of average height. She has long, wispy hair and yellow eyes. She holds a long, herding whip in her left hand, and in her right she holds a short baton.

Her clothes consist of a dark, heavy, fur-lined coat. She wears long, somewhat baggy pants that are tucked into a pair of fur-lined boots.

#Abilities

Passive: Tame the Herd

• Yu'ul deals 1% more damage to non-epic jungle camps and minions for every non-champion unit within 550 units of her. This effect is maxed at 5%.

• Killing a non-epic monster grants Yu'ul a stack of Tamed Beasts.

• Killing an epic monster grants Yu'ul 3 stacks of Tamed Beasts.

Q: Whiplash

• Yu'ul lashes out her whip in a line, hitting the first enemy unit, and dealing 60/70/80/90/100 (+40% Bonus AD) and slowing them for 30%.

• Cost: 50/55/60/65/70 Mana

• Cool-down: 8 seconds

• Range: 675 Units

W: Straggler

• Seperated (Passive): Enemy units that are not within 600 units of another enemy unit take 5% bonus true damage from Yu'ul's basic attacks.

• Wrangle (Active): Yu'ul sends out her whip in a line, grabbing the first enemy champion struck, dealing 40/45/50/55/60 (+60% Bonus AD) as physical damage, and then pulls them to her.

• Cost: 60/65/70/75/80 Mana

• Cool-down: 14/13/12/11/10 seconds

• Range: 700 units

E: Through the Mist

• Yu'ul transforms into mist and dashes to target location, becoming untargetable during the dash. Enemies that Yu'ul passes through are taunted for .5 seconds and dealt 55/60/65/70/75 (+55% Bonus AD) as physical damage.

• Cost: 40 Mana

• Cool-down: 15/14/13/12/10 seconds

• Range: 575 Units

R: Gather the Herd

• Yu'ul creates a Holding Pen out of Black Mist, centered on herself, that slows enemies by 30%. Any enemy champion within the radius of the Holding Pen is dealt 5 (+1 for every stack of Tamed Beasts) physical damage every second.

• Enemies cannot walk out of the Holding Pen, but allies can walk in and out at will.

• While inside the Holding Pen, Through the Mist's cool-down is reduced to 2/1.5/1 seconds, but deals 50% less damage.

• Cost: 100/110/120 Mana

• Cool-down: 200/170/140 seconds

• Range: 600 Units

• Duration: 3.5/4.25/5 seconds
