This Idea for an original character came to me and I want to know what people think of it, I know a lot of my ideas are very similar to current abilities in game, so I'd love feed back and suggestions for more abilities! So, here he is, Revel, The Collector

P: Treasure Hunter- Chests spawn randomly throughout the jungle holding ‘Collection Coins’ which are used to purchase ‘Cast Items.’ and ‘Ultimate Cast Items.’ chests contain between 50 and 100 ‘CC’

Cast Items replace abilities, and are placed in “Cast Slots” representing Q, W, and E. Ultimate Cast Items can only be placed in the ‘Ultimate Slot’ representing the R key.

Revel gets one free Cast Item at game start. Selling Cast Items or Ultimate Cast Items returns only a small portion of CC cost.

Q W and E Options (small example group)-

Arcane runner-600 CC - Allows Revel to dash a short distance leaving a trail of arcane energy which slows enemies behind him. Can pass through walls. 2 uses, 10 second recharge

Ice Core- 750 CC - Passive- reduces all abilities recharge by 5%
Active- Slows target enemy by 20% for 3 seconds, 1 use, 8 second recharge

Tracker Bot- 500 CC- Summons a mechanical minion who follows target champion, revealing their location until they get too far from Revel or time runs out. Upon expiration bot explodes for base Magic Damage (+%AP) on target champion. Reactivate to detonate sooner. 2 charges (one active at a time,) 15 second recharge

Sentinel- 800 CC- Summons a robotic sentinel who attacks enemies within its attack radius, travel path can be set upon summon, can be destroyed by two hits, reveals small radius around it, deals Base Physical Damage(+%AD) in a melee radius. 1 Charge, 10 second recharge

Soul Shooter- 500 CC- Toggle- Revel’s attacks become ranged, dealing 75% AD

Grapple shot- Skill shot, if hits wall or enemy entity Revel launches toward point of impact at high speed, If hits enemy, deals Physical Damage (+%AD) and stuns for 1 second. 2 charges, 5 second recharge

R Options (small example group)-

Artificial Gravity Core- 1200 CC- pulls in all entities within a medium radius, dealing minor Physical Damage to enemies and stunning them for 0.5 seconds. 3 charges, 25 second recharge.

Mech Remote- 1350 CC- After 5 second channel a suit is summoned around Revel, giving him +25% health shield, -10% movement speed, and increases his AP and AD by 50% for 30 seconds or until shield is depleted. 1 Charge, 100 second recharge (After Mech Suit is destroyed.)

Notes- Due to abilities not being able to be upgraded Revel should have a steep increase in AP and AD upon leveling to make up for lost damage, along with a reasonable boost in CC for laning, about 300 CC or so, maybe make it depend on level? Also most Ultimate Cast Items require level Six in order to purchase, might be less, or more, or not even have a requirement, dependent on what items are designed.

Update: Lore- Revel was born in the city state of Zaun, deeply interested in hextech machines and other technology which ruled the city, he began collecting any scraps and items he could get his hands on, whether by stealing, purchasing, or just finding them. Revel would tinker with any equipment he collected, hoping to increase their use to him. Eventually Revel had grown bored of the Zaunite technology, and resolved to leave the city, heading for the institute of war, he hoped that the league would introduce him to the most advanced technology in Runeterra.

it seems that playing Revel would make you behind all the time if you didn't jungle. Even with the boost because he/she'd lose a lot of CS roaming the map to use abilities.

The champion concept is really amazing I have to say with the ability to switch abilities. However getting them randomly from boxes doesn't seem rewarding and could end up making someone feel like they wasted time if they got something useless for that moment.

Maybe make the abilities cycle through I would say to keep him/her consistent and in-bounds of Riot's design philosophy.

sorry if I came off as mean. I didn't mean to.

Have a wonderful day
