Champion idea

Hey guys I thought of a new champion idea and wanted to share it. Before I get started I want to state a few things. Firstly I will not define any sort of numbers since, if the kit is fair mechanically, numbers are where the true balance lies, and I am no riot employee nor a Master player so I have no clue how the numbers I could possibly define would play out. Secondly this is just a concept, I am not writing this thinking "Lol best champ ever rito plz", but instead I am hoping that this inspires someone to build off of what I have done, or cultivate what I have into something awesome.

Anyways here we go.

The issues I have with supports, predominantly female, all AP, all happy whimsical types (except Morgana, but she wasn't initially a support) The issue I have with league's diversity, there are no openly homosexual champions, all we can do is hint at Taric and Ezreal, but that isn't good enough. Yay for including more black people, but can we add a gay person? So I wanted to make an evil gay male support who is AD centric. Here we go!!

Bys (Biss) the weaver of seven!! (Needs a better title, but this is all I have at the moment) Quick Background: Gay, Noxian General, Sadist. Quick Lore: "Your beauty lies within your malfeasance" "Never have I felt so empowered yet so ashamed. All of my past wrongdoings echoed so vividly in my head while simultaneously stimulating my body to mythic levels. I tore through my enemies one by one feeling nothing but remorse for the torrid life I have lived, which surprisingly bought me to tears. This hardened veteran of Noxus brought to tears as the bedraggled bodies of my enemies litter the ground. That was embarrassing yes, but not as degrading as when he skipped, yes skipped over to me on the battle field and ridiculed me about crying for the enemy. The bastard knew what he did to my mind, he knew what he made me saw, but he insisted to act like I was weak. We won the battle yes, but I am never working under General Bys again."

Look: Sigh I can't draw, but I will try to describe him. His hair is in a constant bedhead state and is a silvery white, his body is in really great muscular shape although he is more on the thin and lanky side, but he totally looks like he does crossfit or something. His base skin will be a dark soothsayer look, bearing his chest and abs For example of the types of robes he would wear are along the lines of the Mage from fate stay night, Dark Mages from fire Emblem, and the like, but with a more wispy sexual feel whose design would be akin to those ridiculous get ups you see at fashion shows. To describe his base skin clothing as fast as possible I would have to say he has a "Dark Fabulous" look. He carries multiple spools of his "soul threads" around his belt, these are rather large, think anime large, and multicolored. The fingers and thumb of his left hand all have thimbles and his right hand has scissor blades between his index and middle fingers for a discrete pair of scissors. To top everything off I see him being adorned with small trinkets and accessories like bangles, earrings, chokers etc, nothing gaudy, just stylish.

Personality: Essentially Bys is the embodiment of innocent evil, where he isn't really dark or comes off as evil, but as soon as you talk about killing kittens he gets just as excited as if you told him you were taking him to disney land. Experiencing this makes you think "Does He really like this stuff he... seems... so... innocent... but I mean.... we're... killing kittens.... uh...." Bys would say something like "Aww those kittens are so adorable with their heads cut off, and those cwoot(cute) shrieks of pain were quite amazing, gah I love you thanks for killing these kittens with me ;)"

Weapon: He throws needles in a playfully deadly manner

Role: AD Support Basic Mechanics: All of Bys' skills connects him to the targeted champion by a "soul thread" a special weapon that draws out champions flaws to either use against them or to empower them, most of the skills have an active effect as long as the thread remains intact, if the thread is broken the effect is lost unless otherwise stated, threads are broken whenever another skill is cast.

Descriptors I use: Range: Low would be under or equal to your average ranged AA distance, Medium would be the midpoint between low and high where the range of High would be equal to or greater than the size of the screen. Cool downs(CD): Low = spammable, Medium cool downs must be managed or be put at a disadvantage, High, similar to ultimate cooldown times and passives like Volibear's.

Skills, all cool downs start after a thread is broken: Passive- Indulgence CD-Medium-Long Each of Bys' basic abilities can be reactivated to indulge a new effect to the connected champion

Q - Thread of Pride/Sloth Range-Low Tether Range-Medium Cost-Mana CD-Medium

Pride Target friendly: champion gains bonus armor and magic resist indulge friendly: Champion gains X% bonus movement speed for X seconds, and the defensive bonus lasts throughout the duration whether or not the thread is broken Sloth Target enemy: slows for X second(s) indulge enemy: Reduces armor and magic resist equal to the amount gained by friendlies, slow is refreshed.

W - Thread of Greed/Lust Range-Low Tether Range-Medium Cost-Health + Mana CD-Medium Damage Scales with AD

Greed Target friendly: champion gains increased HP regen (pretty low value here, its nothing like a ticking potion or Mundo passive obviously, but enough to make a visible difference over time) indulge friendly: Champion is healed for a flat amount Lust Target enemy: Champion is damaged for a flat amount indulge enemy: Champion takes DoT for X seconds

E - Thread of Wrath/Envy Range-Medium Tether Range-Medium Cost-Mana CD-Medium

Target friendly: Champion gains X% of Bys' Bonus AD indulge friendly: Champion gains sight of everything around them from stealth to brushes Target Enemy: Gain true sight of the enemy indulge Enemy: Enemy loses AD equal to X% of Bys' Bonus AD

R - Providence Range-High Tether Range-Medium Cost-Mana/second CD-Long

Bys channels and weaves a pattern on the ground around him, Bys will endure any damage a friendly champion takes when woven into the design, while any enemy champion woven into the design Takes X% of the damage that Bys would take. The pattern is created by the player via the sketch mechanic. During the duration of the spell any threads cast will not break providence.

New mechanic, sketch! The sketch mechanic is what it says, you sketch a pattern on the ground with your mouse to create any shape within the draw time limit. The champion doesn't start channeling until the mouse button is let go or the draw timer runs out, But an animation does start playing, This mechanic will be similar to a Vi Q where you can see her getting ready to cast their spell, but if she don't cast it fast enough it fails and goes onto a shorter cooldown. Once the button is let go and the time hasn't run out the champion then starts channeling and fills in the pattern from start to finish essentially retracing what the player drew. For practical purposes there is also a line length limit and when the limit is reached the Channeling starts.

Stats: Low defensive capabilities, low base AD. This champ could be super OP in a solo lane if he could survive solo, so his stats should make going solo Bys top or mid just as hard as going into a solo lane as any other support Everything else can be balanced as needed for quality of life and fairness.

Play style: The "easy" support, since all of his abilities are targeted mechanically Bys would be easy to pick up, especially for those types who get forced into the support role. The challenge comes in when using his passive and ult. Since His passive can really turn the tide of battle, but if used too early or if on CD you can only do so much. For example if you go aggro and you Indulge on Greed you can no longer heal or help your carry escape for as long as the passive is down, making you extremely vulnerable to a gank if your aggression doesn’t pay off. Also sketching an effective pattern while not dying would be difficult as well, but you could always just opt for linking yourself, your carry, and one enemy.

Early game: Keep greed on your Carry to help win trades via health regen, or for an emergency heal, or poke with Lust, buying some AD early helps Lust become more effective while also stepping up your harass game through auto attacks. Pride can help escape ganks or turn them around in your favor. With all of this utility starting at level 3 Bys is a relatively safe support for the early game, you should be able to keep your carry alive while keeping the enemies at bay

Mid Game: Here is where you want to follow your carry around at all times if you guys catch anyone out it is a free kill with the chase down potential, vision, and damage boosts in your kit, at this point your healing abilities are negligible since Bys only can heal for a flat rate at the cost of his much more effective Indulge abilities, but the heal could still save a carry from the last tick of ignite and things along those lines.

Late game: Bys' late game, would be weaker, his ult although great for damage mitigation could backfire and take him out of the fight much too quickly, he would build tanky, but can’t build as tanky as other supports since he also needs some source of AD in order to get the most of of Thread of Wrath/Envy.

Overall: Bys is a snowball support, come late game your kit won't be as effective as other support options especially if you're behind, but if you get ahead and can grab some AD your carry essentially gets a free item or two, and you Can protect them from any AD threat out there while dealing a decent amount of damage yourself.

Weak against: AP assassins, but AP in general, all ins

Strong against: AD, kting, tanks, stealth

Well that is it, if I made any logical errors that leave Bys broken let me know. I tried to cover as many holes as possible IE: threads not breaking upon creating a new one, but I feel like there may be some underlying synergy Where his kit may be absolutely broken, but I feel like I fully captured my vision for him.

Fun design Facts!!:

Yes, the skill names are named after the 7 deadly sins with gluttony being replaced by indulgence, I think the latter sounds better. However did you notice that the skill effects mirror each sin or how people often play league? Indulgence: getting more from what is already there you know? Pride: Here have some armor, mr, and movement speed because you are at 10% health and still want to tower dive, but oh thats right you should be challenger my bad. Sloth: "Playing support is easy" Greed: Wait don't go back in, please don't we don't need that kill, they may kill you... well dang here is some health, good luck!! Lust: "/All Hey guys want to trade supports?" Wrath: T-T-T-T-T-T-T-T-TOOOOOOOOOOONSSSSSSSSSS OF DAMAGE Envy: YOU WISH YOU HAD DAMAGE

The name Bys came from me deciding whether or not to name him Bastien, Yugo, or Samael.
