Champion Concept: true names/language
There's a plethora of historical and modern resources to educate oneself in the breadth of the subject, but off the top of my head ideas could be drawn from: Adamic Languages, Goddess Isis, Dungeons N' Dragons Primordial language, concept of Ohm from a number of sources, Enochian, medieval demonological true names, and Hebrew Gematria. This champion could have ties to a number of champions, such as Ryze (what's in that scroll anyway?), Shyvana (due to an old form of draconic being a powerful language), Ezreal (archeologists discovering old writings), Vel'Koz or any other void creature-or-touched while we're on the subject, or any spirit such as Nocturne and Fiddlesticks (demonology and such), and I'd assume Ionians would have some ancient knowledge, not to mention the Shuremans and Celestials such as Nasus and Kayle. Plus, the status effect is called a silence after all. Another benefit being that this champion could have any disposition and any kit. (caught your eye yet?) Power words are only limited by semantics and grammar; however the problem of this is continuity, being that condensing this to a believable four spell kit would take a minor bit of tweaking this particular champions lore/fluff; also, taking into consideration the sources of magic in the cannon to judge this as a viable option or not. Another negative aspect could be... I forgot. I'd love the hear anyones' thoughts on the matter, however I tend to forget about these things fairly quickly, so sorry in advance for not replying. TL:DR Common myths of true languages has potential for a range of champion concepts.
