History

To the south of the Great Barrier live a tribe of vastayas, the Zulus, who can invoke the help of their ancestors by means of an ancestral magic. A young Zulu, Unawabu, very bold but very stubborn, stood out above the others in controlling that magic. The tribe was in a continuous confrontation against the Admalozi, a rival tribe, but thanks to the magic and the protection of the spirits of their ancestors a war was always avoided. However, the hatred of Unawabu towards the Admalozi each day was greater, because they always attacked their crops and tried to exterminate them. Besides, the pacifism that his teachers showed avoiding a war, which for him was a sure victory thanks to his magic, enervated him.

One day after another attempt of the Admalozi, the already expert master Unawabu could not resist his hatred, and that same night he went alone to put an end to what he understood as a war. His great power was no match for the Admalozi, who only had their antiquated fighting techniques. Their magic ravaged the whole village, and the few remaining survivors surrendered to the impossibility of being victorious. Unawabu, however, possessed by his greatness decided to continue, unleashing the intervention of Ukulunkulu, the first Zulu master. Ukulunkulu horrified by what Unawabu was doing asked him to stop, which was enough; despite these words Unawabu boldly continued without obeying his ancestor. Ukulunkulu had no choice, Unawabu had corrupted Zulu magic by using it for other uses, so he used his power to wrest magic from Unawabu, expelling him from the tribe for his actions.

Unawabu was exiled to the mysterious forest of Kumungu, where surviving would not be easy. There he met Nidalee, in a more than curious meeting. Nidalee was surprised by her appearance because she had never seen such a creature in the jungle, so she decided to observe him to see if it was a threat to her home. Suddenly, without knowing why, Nidalee stopped seeing him, it had vanished in his face. He approached to see what could have happened, when, again by surprise, he appeared again in the same place. Unawabu, scared to see the hunter asked for mercy, and explained that he was new in that place. Nidalee saw in her the girl who was lost in that same jungle years before, so she decided to help him and teach him to hunt.

(With references to a South African myth in which "unawabu" appears, a chameleon)

Abilities

  • Passive (Camouflage chameleon): When Unawabu enters the undergrowth her instinct makes her able to blend in with the environment and become invisible. This effect is durable in the weed, but disappears after 3 s when it leaves, unless it returns to it (restarting the time). It also disappears if an attack is made (both skill and self-attack). Cooldown: 25-10 s (depending on the level)

  • Q (Squamous projectiles): Unawabu performs three attacks, this skill must be activated for each attack. In the first and second throws five scales from its tail and in third after a mortal forward three larger scales. Small scales inflicts 40/55/70/85/100 physical damage and large scales 70/95/120/145/170 (+ 50% additional attack damage) in addition to slowing down 25/30/35/40 / 45% movement for 1 s. Range: The first attack will be in a quarter of a circle to your right, and the second equal to your left, of range 500. The third attack will be in a cone (he in vertex) forward of 60º of reach 600. Always with the scales equidistant. Cost: 60/65/70/75/80 mana Cooldown: 12.5 / 11 / 9.5 / 8 / 6.5 s

  • W (Skin change): Unawabu opens the hugs and unrolls her tail to get rid of her old skin. Throws scales in all directions, inflicting 80/125/170/215/240 (+ 80% additional attack damage) physical damage to surrounding units. Range: A circle around it reaches 350. Cost: 60 mana Cooldown: 9/8/7/6/5 s

  • E (Catch the fly!): Unawabu throws a lick. If he reaches an enemy unit, he launches himself towards him, jumps over it, and sends him in a direction contrary to his movement. Inflicts 80/120/160/200/240 Physical damage (+ 90% Additional Attack Damage). If your tongue collides with an obstacle in the ground, it moves there. Range: In a straight line with a range of 850 (he will be 100 behind the initial position of the enemy and the enemy 100 in the opposite direction). Cost: 90 mana Cooldown: 16/14/12/10/8 s

  • R (Impulse): Unawabu concentrates all his fury increasing in size (a small increase approximately x1.5) and turning his scales into spines, in order to enhance his abilities. Cost: 100 mana Cooldown: 120/105/90 s The skills he gets are: 1.Q (Lashs): Unawabu makes two attacks, this skill must be activated for each attack. In the first attack Unawabu sweeps his tail in front of him first to the left and then back to the right. Causes 35% slowdown and inflicts 60/80/100 (+ 80% additional attack damage) Physical damage for each hit. In the second attack, after a mortal forward, it launches a tail towards the ground, and after the shock throws scales to the sides. Inflicts 120/160/200 (+ 100% additional attack damage) of physical damage with the tail and 90/120/160 with the scales. Range: The first attack in a semicircle of range 450, and the second attack in a triangle (it in the base) of range 550 (the scales around the triangle with 200 range) 2.W (Explosive skin): Unawabu opens the hugs and unrolls her tail to get rid of her old skin. Throws scales in all directions, stunning 1.25 by inflicting 150/250/350 (+ 100% additional attack damage) physical damage to surrounding units in a range of 400 and slowing movement by 35% and inflicting 120/200 / 280 (+ 60% Additional Attack Damage) Physical damage to units located in a range up to 600. Range: A circle around it reaches 600. 3.E (Flycatchers): Unawabu turns her head and throws her tongue as if it were a sliding tie (like a cowboy). All trapped enemies are pushed towards the center of the loop as Unawabu picks up his tongue. It slows down by 40/50/60% and inflicts 150/250/350 (+ 70% additional attack damage) for physical damage. Range: Range of 900 and diameter of loop 400.
