Champion name: Magun, the forgotten king
Type: Melee bruiser
Lore: Magun was once the elderly ruler of a small kingdom that was lost from all written accounts 500 years before the current events in rune-terra. A cruel leader who often forced slaves into work that would kill men, Magun had developed a massive mine system in the iron spike mountains, using runes to carve great swaths of land out of existence to build an underground city. Once completed, he took his people underground, and destroyed the entrance, removing sun from their lives entirely. His people where slow to adapt to the new lifestyle, with many 60% dying within the first two years. However, with their death, cane life. A fungus grew on the corpses, giving light through bioluminescence, and nourishment through consumption. The fungus had been discovered in a sealed cave which the miners had found late in the project. The people lived and started to prosper with the fungus, which only needed water to grow, and the king neared the end of his life. With mining expeditions happening often to deal with increasing people, a new natural cave system was found. Magun instantly declared it his tomb, as he did not want his people to see him grow weak. Walking into the cave, he ordered his men to destroy the entrance as he did with his people years before. His son took over as king, and the underground community prospered for 3 generations, before a cave in split the kingdom in two sides. Fractured, the two sides fell in disarray and died, ending the kingdom. However, Magun’s story does not end there, as 400 years later, a group of explorers, led by Ezreal found the lost city, and eventually, the tomb of Magun. Walking kilometers down through a maze of natural passages, Ezeal came to a large room holding Magun encased in a purple crystal. Upon Ezreal touching the crystal, it shattered, leaving a significantly younger Magun to deal with the Intruders of his tomb. Unleashing arcane powers from the void, Magun attacked the explorers, with Ezreal nearly dying, but managing to escape the forgotten king. Although no knowledge exists of how the king got the powers of the void,he still lives after 400 years, and he hunts Ezreal, the man who disturbed his sleep, the eternal rest of the underground kingdom
Appearance: Magun is 6’7” tall, and is light violet, with three lines running horizontally over his eyes in black. Magun’s eyes are yellow, and has no mouth. He has three gold rings piercing his ears, and is wearing a pair of black pants decorated with runes and is wearing a rerebrace on his left arm covered in ruinic symbols. He also has a massive beard that goes down to his waist that is brown,
