Is Zed ever getting a new skin riot?

Zed has been released for over two years now and has been a player favorite throughout normal and ranked games while also seeing alot of play in LCS. I know he got the SK telecom skin but since it was because of the lcs event i feel like that really should not even count as a skin release for him. the main reason being that champion who have only been out half as long as he has, (some even less than a year) have already received 1 or more new skin designs while zed has been left alone in the dark (no pun intended) he has always been one of my favorite champions and i love all of the skins that have been coming out but i really feel like he deserves a new skin much more than anyone who has been given one recently. Would be interested to know the communities point of view on this as well.
