Bit of a proto-concept I wanted to share. Noxian-Ionian with a evil weapon.
There's this bit of Japanese folklore about particular kind of blade, one that itself, had a lust for blood, and would force it's wielder to commit suicide if not sated. Many of these blades were claimed to have been made by Muramasa, contrasted with the "Holy" weapons created by his master, Masamune.
Now, add to that the lack of a counterpart to a certain Demacian, and I had a fully made backstory.
"Chi" (Japanese for Blood), the Bloody Blade. > > Chi was a Ionian Warrior of some renown, "Master swordsman" classic, albeit one that enjoyed bare steel duels a bit too much. > > And then she found the cursed blade. At first, it just seemed like an unerringly sharp sword that only made her a greater warrior. But during a long time of peace, a duel meant to be for first blood ended when Chi killed her foe, was disgraced and banished, and became a Rogue samurai/bandit lord. > > And then the Noxian Invasion happened. And guess who decided to side with the guys with them? > > Yup. This chick.
Appearance-wise, Chi wears light Noxian plate armor, and wields a Black, long handled Katana. The blade is kept in it's sheath until the first attack or ability used, and is returned to said sheath after her passive wears off.
The passive in question increases her Lifesteal as she attacks Champions. as well as granting her abilities additional effects at high "blood" or whatever you're gonna call it. This encourages Chi to attack enemies for the sake of it, not caring too much about hitting a more high value target over simply hitting things as much as possible to stack up her passive.
I don't know how the rest of the kit should go. Just got this far and hit a brick wall.
And incase you can't guess, the Demacia is
.
And yes, I was partially inspired by Dark Souls II's Sir Alonne and his Alonne Knights. Come to think of it, Alonne's sword was cursed too.
