The Celestial Agents.
After the most recent update, to say that I was surprised and disappointed that the Void, who sports over half a dozen champions if not more, have their own insignia.
And yet, the Celestials; Aurelion Sol, Bard, and, for all intents and purposes, Soraka, are bereft of one. Shouldn't they have one too? Even if they are all tangentially allied to one another?
If the main reason for this is their lack of numbers, let's rectify that then, shall we? Since the only Celestials we got are supports and a mid-laner, we'll go through a few of these via roles, since they play such a huge part of the game. (Bear in mind, I'm more of writer than game designer, so, take the game aspects of these characters with a grain of salt.)
Top Laner;
Xia, the Sculptor.
Tall and bulky, the Scupltor has worked in tandem with Aurelion Sol. The Sculptors cultivate life on the words that are affected by the light the Star Forgers create from their stars through the soil. She is highly intelligent, yet, she only speaks in one word sentences. It's all she needs, really. People get the idea pretty quickly. She has the appearance of a rotund giant made of rare minerals. Melee-oriented. Tank/Bruiser.
Jungler:
Yuz; the Tracker.
Yuz is by no means a hunter. However, she seeks the secrets of mortals with an almost child-like curiosity. She always finds it remarkable how creatures with such limited life spans are able to create such wonders. The Trackers work, at times, with the Caretakers, so as histories, stories, and civilizations are not lost. She listens to the secrets with unnaturally good hearing and has no intention of letting the truth be lost to shadows. She bears the appearance of a six winged owl with an extended torso to hold four legs. Assassin. Magic Oriented. Fragile, but highly mobile. Uses solidified star light melee weapons from her wings and claws.
Mid-laner:
Ven; the Dissemination
Ven is the teacher. The guardian of histories. She works with the Trackers to ensure that the memories and stories are given to mortals so they are not to be lost, as they find more value in them than the Celestials do. She also searches for Soraka to inform her that the Cosmos has noticed her absence and desires her return. Stern and blunt, she has little time for cumbersome human social mores. She is Soraka's teacher and as such, feels responsible for the Starchild's fall. She is of a similar form and structure to Soraka, albeit far older and her corporeal form is more aged and wizened with robes like a nebula. Magic oriented. More sturdy than Yuz, but not a tank or bruiser, but not as mobile as assassins. Average all around. Uses gravity as primary weapon.
ADC:
Qar; the Organizer.
The Organizers are jittery and obsessive fact checkers to the point that anything that goes beyond the scope of what 'should be' drives them up the wall. Qar is no exception. Numbers are solid. Numbers are truth. Numbers are everything to her. Their intellect is second to none, but comes with the price of having their thought process appear to be a stream of consciousness and can be distracted at times. They bear a passing resemblance to what a Meep and a Yordle would look like if they had fused into a singular being. They work with the Caretakers to ensure that 'all as it has been and all as it will be'. High damage, low health. Uses solidified light as projectile weapons.
This is just off the top of my head, but what do you folks think?
