New game-mode (Arena)
This isn't really true but I consider myself I relatively high ELO player, playing the game frequently and trying to make a habit of learning more each game I play while I climb. There are 2 things I tend to struggle with daily in my games:
- How can I improve my micro/macro play without resorting to luck wherein I have to hope that the next game will be a fair game, between players of equal skill. Else I have to play through a 20-40 minute game without any improvement in my play.
- Attempt to enjoy the grind regardless of the teammates or current state im paired with.
It does get pretty boring playing the same map and mode multiple times, especially if you're trading win for loss. An Idea came to mind, why doesnt riot release an Arena system (2v2, 3v3, 5v5) which has a ranked mode, with an open tournament on the weekend weekly so there is an extra element of competition. I can definitely imagine a lot of hype coming up on saturday and sunday to win your divisions arena tournament on the weekend, and it would be a much faster paced game and reward you with quick tools to learn your lane match-ups.
I was thinking that is sucks that korea is beyond every other region in terms of skill, there should be an easy way to improve your play without having to resort to grinding out 30+ minute game which arent even guaranteed to improve your level. I understand you can watch VODS are read on information, but there is no substitute for actually playing.
If anyone likes this idea id be happy to elaborate more, and im sure a reward system could be added to this mode too. So any thoughts are appreciated.
