Ashe's Passive Re-Work [IDEA]

Focus - Critical chance for mid/late instead of early game Description: Targets affected by any type of slow grants Ashe critical strike chance after 10 continuous shots on the same target. If Ashe changes the focus of her AAs on a different target, her passive stacks revert back to zero/start counting from 1 again. The same things apply if she doesn't attack in 4s or if the target loses the slow effect. The passive stacks are not lost or gained if she uses her Volley or Enchanted Crystal Arrow (only procs off the AAs with Q toggled or any other slow that affects her target like Randuin's for example). Her new passive would scale off levels and would give her +5% per level -> Level 1 = +5%; Level 11 = 55%; Level 18 = +90%.

What does this mean? This is a passive meant for a late-game carry, which Ashe should be but her passive right now is holding her back from it. It is useless, and if you ask any Ashe player there, they'll tell you the same. In a teamfight, where Ashe should shine the most because her ultimate can make a huge impact, her passive falls flat after the first shot and doesn't regenerate unless you stop attacking. Do you stop attacking in a teamfight..? Probably not, unless you're losing and you need to retreat hard. The passive we have now is mostly used in lane. Get stacks, try to hit the ADC/Support and repeat over and over again. But hey, you'll probably waste it on a minion or something because they're not stupid to get in your range. The main problem behind it? Ashe is not a lane bully. In fact, she is the WORST early game ADC, even worse than Vayne since she doesn't have tumble to get out of a sticky situation. This passive is meant for someone like Caitlyn who does nothing but harassing and poking you out. Sure, Ashe does have a big range, but come on.. the passive sucks and makes no sense.

The new passive relies on Ashe's strength and makes all of the sense in the world. Unlike Yasuo, who gets near 100% crit on every attack and Q with IE and SS, Ashe must: a) attack the same target 10 times; b) burn through her mana with her Q; c) go into extended fights. Her passive gives her a big spike, sure, but it also makes a big trade-off and balances itself out because of how much it costs to work, hence it can only be used best in a teamfight or skirmishes where Ashe was meant to thrive. Also, you have to attack constantly THE SAME TARGET for it to work, which is basically the job of an ADC, and it is also based on slows, which is something that defines Ashe as a champion.

The passive is also meant to work with SS, since you also get 10 stacks after every shot and can deal sure 200 magic damage (IE = 25%; SS = 20%; Lvl11 = 55%). I'd also recommend tear as core on her, since you'd need the mana if you want the passive to be up every time or you'd run out pretty quickly. You could also gift blue to Ashe if you have someone like Zed as a midlaner for that regen when she is wrecking face.

It could also mean that her builds can vary, since you could sacrifice some of that crit chance for a damage item instead (but still get IE anyway). Heck, you could even ignore IE and go full damage with 10% crit runes. I think it would be an awesome change and that it would make her very worth to play..

..but I'm not the one to be asked, since I thought of the idea. More importantly, what do YOU think? Are there any Ashe players who think this would suit her playstyle? Do you think that this would make her broken? Do you think that this would not be good? Do you think that it is awesome and just what you wanted for Ashe? Let me know.

If you're going to downvote it at least give me a reason why.

I don't care enough to down or upvote, but why should Ashe be a late-game carry? Not everyone is going to be one. Her strength is in the mid-game, with the team fights.

Let's analyze this a bit. 10 auto-attacks eventually gives you 90% crit chance.

We have two ways to go. The first is to never itemize more than 10% crit, so we're not wasting gold: this gives us a build where our only AS is Bezerker's Greaves + BorK + Ghostblade, meaning those 10 attacks take us a LONG time.

The other way, where we maybe pick up a Shiv in addition, is wasting stats, as we're buying crit we don't actually need.

Either way, after 10 auto-attacks all but the most durable target is basically dead anyway, making this ability effectively useless...especially since Carries often pick the best target at one specific moment, meaning you're highly likely to be switching targets as you move around the teamfight.

It's also entirely useless in the laning phase, since I'll be last-hitting and unlikely to get anywhere close to 10 hits on a single target.

The fact that the target also has to be slowed just seals the deal: this passive is basically a flat nerf to an already bad passive in all but the most specific circumstances (attacking a tank who can't kill you within, say, 7 seconds).
