A better version of Swain W?

Swain's W is kinda weird, and the combo to use it to deal damage to enemy champions is pretty dumb. I think there could be a much better way for it to work. It could be made so that when W is cast on the ground any enemy champions in its radius are immediately slowed. You can then have it drain a small amount of their health per second that they are in it while healing for some of that damage dealt (similarly to his ultimate). Then when W detonates it does regular damage instead of double damage to balance it out. This would make Swain's W so much more useful, and it would fit better into his kit.
