[Champion Concept] Mizu, the great Analyst

Hello Summoners, I want to present a champion concept of mine, it will be alot of text, so prepare yourselves. ^^


General Information: Subclass: Enchanter/Disruptor Origin: Piltover Role: Support Appearance: Young lady with long black hair. Wears a futuristic overall and a device on her left arm.


Lore: Mizu is a young lady from Piltover and she got famous for her natural talent of analysing given data. Many of the big houses in Piltover were requesting her services. Naturally the prices for her help were growing over time and she was able to make some wealth herself. But mostly she was spending that money for new equipment for her various researches. But the technology in Piltover was not enough for her and so she was crafting her own calculating device, which she is wearing on her left arm.

This device is driven by a hextech crystal of course. What she didn't expect was.... the artificial voice she created started to talk to her. It seemed that it had a personality... and knowledge of things which happened long time ago. She is not aware of it, but the brackern in the hextech crystal she used for the device awakened. She decided to give him a name: Argo.

Since she used to be a very shy person and avoided direct interaction with people as much as possible, she was really thankful that she got someone she was able to talk to.

She still offers her services, but she decides herself if she wants to accept the job or not. Oftenly she is working together with a young Sheriff, Caitlyn, to stop criminals. Of course Mizu isn't in danger while doing so, she is giving Caitlyn and Vi instructions by a device while sitting somewhere in safety herself.


Kit: Passive: Knowledge is Power: Destroyed wards (even if they run out naturally) of the enemy leave behind a data crystal. Mizu is able to collect these. Every 5 collected crystals, she is able to chose an enemy champion to "research" them. Research uses the same interface which is used for Kindreds passive.

Argo: Mizu starts the game with an unique item, Argo. It is granting AP, mana regeneration and health regeneration based on upgrades. Argo gets upgraded every 5 crystals collected by Mizu. After the first 25 crystals (so, if every enemy is researched), collecting additional crystals will grant additional AP. Argo has an active effect, Mizu can use Argo on an ally to grant him a shield. As long as the shield lasts, the ally is dealing x% more damage against every researched enemy.

Q: Analysis Mizu uses a skillshot (shape: circle), enemies in the area take AP damage. If the enemy hit is researched, he will get slowed.

W: Planned Maneuver Mizu is placing an invisible trap. If an enemy steps on it, he will get rooted and the debuff "Instructions". Every time that enemy gets attacked, he and every enemy in the area will take additional on-hit-damage every time the debuffed enemy gets attacked.

E: Reconstruction Mizu creates a tether between her and an ally. The ally gets healed over time as long as the tether doesn't break. The tether breaks if the ally is moving away too far or if Mizu gets hit by hard CC.

R: World Formula Mizu creates a zone which grants allies damage reduction. Researched enemies take damage over time and this damage triggers the on-hit-effect of Planned Maneuver.

Mizu is designed to be significantly weaker than other supports early in the game but scaling extremely hard into the late game. Later she will be able to protect a carry extremely well while buffing his damage output. I think that fits her thematic, since she gets stronger with collecting information and finding the weak spots of her enemies.


Last words: I would love to get feedback for that champion concept, both about lore as the kit. ^^ I hope some people out there will like the idea.
