Ahri's Orb Has A... Shadow?

So today I played Ahri, for like the second time, and noticed something odd. Ahri's LIGHT emitting orb had a shadow. Now I don't know if this is something lore related, but if it is, isn't this is thematically inconsistent. Something seems Ahri here. I don't know if it's just me, but I feel like it shouldn't have a shadow.

This has been the case since she was released

It's bothered me too :V

Especially since I KNOW there's a way to make a model not cast shadows! >>

The question is, is it a simply a "light ball of energy" or is it some kind of special energy.

(99% it's just how Rito treats anything we can go pew pew with)

Its a ball of the essence that she steals from those she kills. Her lore states she steals it whilst they are charmed by her beauty. Basically, it is their souls. THe main question is should souls cast shadows?

light creates shaddows. Shaddows are create from the absence of light therefore if it is a light emitting orb then where the light is not there will be shaddows to the question is should there be random liniar shadows emitted by the light orb that go in every direction or should there just be one giant shadow?

the shadow? isnt it the setting, ahri is placed differently in the 2 photos. some parts of the floor is highlighted, but if this isn't it then idk lol. it looks fine to me
