[ CHAMPION CONCEPT ] Willow, The Forest's Keeper
This concept is not 100% original. The idea itself of a tree spirit creature and connected to the seasons as wall as his E 'New Beginnings" is an idea from Shiny Shellder. The rest of this concept was made by me, but i do not take full credit but i will deem this a community idea. Lets get to it!
Willow is a lone creature part of an ancient mythical race of forest keepers. He is young so i suppose his voice will sound like a child but soft and whispy as if it was the voice of the wind. His movement should be like a rodent, hop jumps on all fours as he is modeled after a treemouse. His role is mainly jungler based on his story but he can also be played as a support. To be more efficient Willow should be built relatively tanky as a result of his damage taking due to tree death. His abilities are hybrid in nature with his ultimate being mostly AP and his Q being AD + AP http://i.imgur.com/RCvEdiq.png This is his story:
There exist stories, of small mystical but illusive creatures that belong to the secrets of the forest. They say the forests existed because of them. Strange creatures called Elms who are deeply tied to the trees and the life in these forests, in an eternal bond. They are responsible for the growth, the survival and the change these forests have.
In the remote Elderwoods forest lives such strange creatures. Hundreds of them hidden within the trees and shrubs. They are led by 4 elders, as old as the oldest tree that dwells in this forest. Each Elm is assigned to a task by the elders to ensure the health of the forest remains strong and well, while the elders kept balance within. They are able to sprout new life into the plants, seeding the forest, even controlling the seasonal changes. The Elms took pride and joy in their woodland home. There was however one Elm, named Willow, who had an inevitable curiosity to the life outside his homeland. What lies beyond? Why are we limited to this small forest? Willow wanted to venture out, expand the forest and share its great gifts to others. The Elders disagreed. They have been here for an eternity, entwined tightly to this forest just as the vines and roots are tied to the trees. They can’t leave this forest just as a tree can’t leave its birthplace.
Elder: “even I can’t move a tree, so how could you move an entire ecosystem?”
Willow kept his opinion strong, fuelling his intents and ambition. That night he made his daring decisions to leave his homeland to seed a new forest and spread new life elsewhere. This was new territory; no Elm has ever left their forest, not alone at least. He needed to find new soil to sprout a new ecosystem, a new home, but this will be a strenuous task for just a single lone Elm. Perhaps a small existing forest would be good building blocks to start a fresh. Venturing deep into Rune Terra, Willow came across a small forest near Summoner’s Rift uninhabited, by Elms at least. This might be the perfect foundation, just what he needed. Willow must modify the forest abit so as to root himself within this new habitat, earning better control of it. Dreadful creatures lived within the forest, creatures that might disturb the peaceful balance. Willow scoured the forest in search of any threatening creatures that will inhibit growth of his new home. Through laborious purging of old life and seeding the new, Willow finally created a flourishing new soul land to fend and care for.
Over time Willow began to know the forest as if it was his own body and mind, knowing every creature scurrying among the land, every tree and every plant reaching for the light. One day however Willow observed an unknown creature, one he has never seen before, seeming to be beings of some kind. There were 2, maybe 3. Should they be left, to exist among his forest? Or are they a threat to the balance? Before Willow could finish his decision more strange beings came, but they didn’t seem too friendly to the first group of creatures. Willow was blissfully unaware that he was lying witness to a summoner’s battle. What was he to do? Should he help the beings who are being attacked, they might be tied to the balance of the forest, they might need to survive. But how could he help? As the elder said even he can’t move a tree. Willow then realized if he made a forest on his own, he carried the seed and sprouted new life. The forest isn’t stationary, the forest is not rooted, it’s within him, connected by the roots of the trees to the breath that lies within each creature. In that moment Willow rooted the soul of a tree within him, summoning himself into the battle carrying with him the forest within. Suddenly a massive tree sprouted out of the ground along with Willow, vanquishing the attackers’ plans winning the other beings victory.
Leona: “thank you mysterious creature”
Willow: “thank the forest, today it’s brought you life.” “whenever you need assistance, call upon the trees, and the forest will come to you.”
That day Willow understood his purpose. He understood his reason for leaving and understood where the forest lies, within. If someday he would have to leave again, the forest will always be with him, wherever he goes.
These are his abilities: http://i.imgur.com/1UP0Esy.png Passive: Season's Bond A Season is chosen at the start of the game and begins to cycle between the 4 seasons, Winter, Spring, Summer and Fall, changing every 2.5 minutes. Each season has various effects on some of willow's abilities and the trees. http://i.imgur.com/jE6z5aX.png Q: Call of the Tree A single tree is summoned to a targeted area, sicking from it's rooted spot and emerging at it's summoned spot along with Willow, dealing physical damage to any enemy in the area's range as it resurfaces. http://i.imgur.com/QL52ukr.png W: Plundering Roots Willow and his trees launch roots in a short range of themselves trapping any enemy in the range, but also rooting Willow himself for 2 seconds. Health is stolen from any enemy entangled in the roots, healing Willow and his trees for the duration. http://imgur.com/3up513d E: New Beginnings Willow births a seed, which can be planted on the map, sprouting a sapling instantly. Seeds stack to a max of 4 in the inventory and 4 trees as the max placed on the map. The sapling grows every 10 seconds to mature into a tree through 3 stages. The tree has differing stats at each stage.
These trees are affected by each season changing in color along with Willow as well as their growth.

R: Song of the Season Willow sings a song of the season rooting himself for the duration of 3 seconds but is canceled if Willow moved, or is interrupted. The song's effects within the range, vary depending on the current season: Winter - Willow's song brings the chilling snow breeze that slows any enemies in the range for 3seconds after which any enemy still in the range will be frozen for another 3 seconds. Trees are unaffected. http://i.imgur.com/lz77DmP.png
Spring - Willow's song brings a life giving spring glow, sprouting flowers in the area and applying health regen for himself and his trees within the area for 3 seconds, after which the trees within the range burst with fruits. Fruits stay for an additional 5 seconds in which if any allies walk on will heal them with 40/50/60/HP per fruit but if an enemy walk on it will deal equivalent in magic damage. http://i.imgur.com/dYIeXwe.png
Summer - Willow's song brings a heat surge within the area, drying the grass and igniting both trees and enemies within the area range, dealing burning damage to enemies and killing the trees in the area. Trees that are ignite however stay ignited for an additional 3 seconds before they die, igniting other enemies near the trees themselves (tip: avoid casting near trees unless it is planned to trap enemies. http://i.imgur.com/7tOjCyU.png
Fall - Willow's song brings a hibernating spell to the area, silencing any enemy in the area range for the duration of the song. http://i.imgur.com/S7ze6AD.png
I hope this is unique and loved enough to be implemented in game :) BUMP BUMP!
