New Champion Class: Sniper

Over the years league of legends has released very diverse champions with many different concepts and abilities. This isnt game breaking an the game a a whole will be the same but i want to bring to attention the idea of adding a new class of champions that deserve to be singled out as what they are for they play like no other type of champion in league of legends; snipers. what defines a sniper though? Well simply put a sniper is anyone that stays out of the retaliation zone of an enemy and does their work from afar and (usually) concealed. Champions that should be given this new class are as follows:

Jhin: Sniper, Marksman Ezreal: Marksman, Sniper Caitlyn: Marksman Sniper Xerath: Sniper, Mage Nidalee: Class change from assassin to Mage, Sniper Lux: Sniper, Mage Draven: Marksman, Sniper Jayce: Fighter, Sniper Jinx: Marksman, Sniper Ashe: Marksman, Sniper And finally Gangplank: Mage. Sniper or Fighter, Sniper

Now to address some of the maybe questionable choices. Nidalee does use a lot of close combat fighting which brings up the question of why she would be classed as sniper. The reason for this lies in the q where 8/10 thats the kill condition: land q go in, Miss q try again or walk away try again another time. Typically a Nidalee will not be able to 1v1 a player unless they are marked especially in the early game where typically Nidalee will spear from a position where shes either out of vision or far enough that the spear will do more damage which usually always is outside of retaliation range. However because of her close combat fighting as well her sniper class will be secondary as q is not the only means of marking opponents. She doesent play as an assassin and its debatable as to how close to a "fighter" she is. But should she keep her fighter class she will be Fighter, Sniper instead.

Draven is the kind of adc that doesent really give a crap. Most Draven mains play on the aggressive side from start to finish going in and going into man mode however his ult is more than enough reason to give him a sniper class as his secondary.

Jayce is more of a fighter than ANYTHING. His primary role will be and always will (should) be fighter. However his e q combo (or for you advanced Jayce mains out there q e) brings a presence to the game that can not be ignored as it is a devastating combo that all Jayce players turn to when they cant just start smacking people with their hammer. This in my opinion is enough to grant him the secondary class of sniper.

Ashe is a hyper carry however she is usually a champ that stays back until her opponents are subdued. She will keep her primary class as marksman as she only has one real ability that can be argued as a sniper ability however the impact that a good long distance ult has can be very devastating to the enemy team. A well aimed ult at a key player can win the team fight.

Last but not least the last very interesting choice is gangplank. Gangplanks kit resolves around doing damage from afar rarely does Gangplank use primarily his blade in a fight. His global ult acts as both a support for teamfights halfway across the map and to snag those who escape with low enough health. Gangplank is all about the range and making sure people dont actually get to him this i feel should earn him the secondary or maybe even primary class of sniper.

And this is what i think. I feel as though shes champions need to be recognized as different from the rest because they dont play like the rest. They have a specific play style that no matter how much you hate them you cant deny it is a very specific style that brings them apart and gives them their identity. From Lux laser coming out of nowhere to deny your escape to Jhin sniping you from afar these champs have one thing in common: they are all snipers.

So it's basically Artillery, but for marksmen.
