Champion idea inspired from HoN's Empath

I was thinking about cool champs from league that I enjoy last day and I remembered playing Heroes of Newerth a couple years ago, and one of my favorite champions was Empath.

Essentially, Empath was a support utility mage with a terrain wall like Anivia, a heal and some other ability I can't recall, but the most fun ability on her kit was her ulti.

You could ult an ally and fuse with him, granting him stuff like Movement speed and damages. It was great for escaping or chasing dead enemies.

I'd be really happy to see Riot pull a similar ability out on a new champion. I don't recall any champ with a similar mechanic and I think it would add some diversity from those invulnerability ulties.
